Things are exciting in Austin and hopefully a new era of Longhorns can put some consistency into winning again. I see absolutely nothing wrong with being excited about change and hope for the future. No, never seen one of those. They are full of crap. Fact is, igs have always looked for any way to thumb their nose at The University of Texas, even by thinking they have joined a better conference and will get better tv coverage. Funny how you can't stand on your own merits and have to throw an entire conference at Texas. I personally enjoy the squirming and the lame posts like the last one. Texas is a very marketable team and things like this would not happen if it were untrue. Can't wait for Strong to get Texas back to their winning ways. Talk about squirming!

SEC covers an entire conference, while LHN is dedicated to one University. Lumping together equals demand. Ain't that a kick in the pants. LOL!

I have Direct TV, which I love, but I don't get many Rocket games unless they are on one of the ESPNs. Guess I will see them come playoff time.

No "as usual" to it. I missed nothing. VY was questioned about being a pocket passer, his ability to read defenses, his intelligence, anything people could come up with. There is no doubt in any ags mind about JFF though. None of these even factor in. No conviction.

Only thing I can say is I can think of a Heisman winning QB who won a NC and completed 65% of his passes his senior year, and not one Ags ever gave him one freakin vote of support. His name was Vince Young. But now you have JFF entering the NFL and all of a sudden, Heisman winners and high percentage pass completions are the qualifiers for a successful NFL career. Vince Young became a head case (I truly think the money ruined him) and JFF has attitude issues. Who knows how successful anyone will be until they play? Answer.....no one.

The University of Texas t-shirt fan here. Been one my whole life. Used to enjoy Aggie football during the Slocum years. Watch all kinds of sports. Has to be exciting or I turn the channel or turn it off.

I am hearing Sage Seay for Ned. However, it is a coach's decision, of which I am not. Whoever is in there will be the best for the job. I have all the faith in our coaching.

Coach Barbre (sp.) from Lamar had the girl's basketball program doing very well in the NCAA tournaments. He innocently gave one of his players a ride home because she didn't have one. NCAA violation.....gues who wasn't coaching there ever again. What a shame. I wasn't aware that the UIL was as strict. To me, 7 on 7 is a joke. Maybe the players and coaches like it because it gives them something to do. Everything changes with pads on. Just my opinion.
