I liked the article in that it showed UT was NOT the only culprit against a conference network. Read closely. All the Ags trying to lay blame squarely on UT's shoulders when they were just as GUILTY. Talk about two faced! Ags, really, that's all you live for is to find fault with UT. What an existence that must be. For most people, the second thing out of their mouths when being introduced to someone is not which college they attended.

I agree with the cuts and I know times are totally different than when I was a kid. Poor kids, can't have fun like I did. What needs to happen is to get some of those moms off their butt, crank that Nissan Altima, and drive and pick up that kid of theirs. School is not an 8 hour day care, although it sure seems that is what school has become.

Of course, just had to ask. Where is the getting whipped line drawn? You lose, you got whipped. I don't need to mince words. I thought Ags should have moved to about 15 and SC right below. A jump from 21 to 9 is unusual, but if you read my thread about all the games I saw, it will fit.

Top two teams in sec last year stepped out of conference and got whipped (Florida State and Oklahoma). A simple fact that seems to always be overlooked. This year already, top two teams in the country were almost beaten by unranked teams. They should have dropped and all of you know it. Why all the jawing?

The two ranked teams were #1 and #2. Their unranked opponents did not win but scared the crap out of them. One or two plays and the score is reversed. Both should drop in the rankings. Also speaks volumes for the pollsters and their top 25. Ags suck up to their conference teams now but showed absolutely no respect for any conference team when they were in the Big XII. Funny how that works. Must be an Ag character flaw.

Another Sumlin system QB. Not a knock, simply an observation. Matt Cassel was a Patriot's system QB. Did well for the Pats, maybe average for the Chiefs and Vikings.

Only an ag would look that up.

Like I said, of the ones I saw. My work takes up most of the weekend if it is my weekend. Wish I could have seen more.

I guess no one really knows how things will pan out, but consistency is what every team looks for. If the Ags go up against a team with a great pass rush, then things could be tough, but if that OL keeps Kenny upright, I have my doubts about them losing. Turnovers are always game killers too, but that is part of consistency. I have been wrong before.

Even though I like messing with Ags, I call them like I see them. Kenny was amazing. JFF now looks like a system QB. I still say I could survive as QB in a Sumlin system.

.....I was able to view, the most convincing win was the Ags. Difficult for me to say but it is true. A little reservation here until I see if Hill can play that way each week, but their offensive line is awesome. Give lots of credit to those guys. When everything you do gets positive yards, your OL is dominating. Secondary needs some work. FSU and Bama should drop in the rankings for not dominating unranked teams. Come on now, if Texas was #1 or #2, you would say the same thing. I did not get to see all of the WVU/Bama game, but I hear there was a terrible call that kept the Bama drive alive.....instead of punting, they end up scoring. I hate it when any team gets hosed like that, but it tells me that an unranked Big XII team could have upset the "premier" sec team. This will be an interesting season. If the Ags can be consistent, I don't see anyone beating them unless their defense falters.

#1 and #2 have trouble with unranked Big XII teams. Both should drop in the polls.

Games like this seem to have a turning point and I believe the missed FG for WV was the culprit. WV was simply a play or two away from beating the #2 team. But such is football.

Were any other players cut?

Another Big XII unranked team hanging with #1. Gotta love it.
