Had a female hire on through a sub-contractor in the plants as a carpenter's helper. Good looking woman. Filled out a pair of nomex very nicely. Trouble was that if I tried to let her make her equal agenda by asking her to hand me a 1x6, five men would trip over themselves grabbing that 1x6 so she didn't have to. I always felt that somewhere out there, there was some man with a wife and two kids looking for work, but he couldn't find any because people like her had to be hired instead. Nothing personal against her, but she didn't pull her weight. Not sure if this fits the topic very well, but it's something to ponder.

Had a man ask me what I would do if my son called me and said he needed a jacket for winter. Obviously the mom (his ex) spent the child support on who knows what. He was furious and thought he shouldn't have to pay it. I simply told him that I never had to deal with divorce, but that if my son EVER called me and said he was cold and needed a jacket, if I had to pawn something, he would have a jacket, but that's just me. Thank God my wife is stuck with me. I couldn't deal with that stuff very well. Staying on topic, I think the courts do favor the woman with good intentions, but nothing is perfect and good people suffer. Probably what I have already said.

I've known some cases where the kid would have been better off with the dad, but what do I know? I think the laws are designed to protect the woman from being used and abused and being stuck with a kid with no visible means of support. I understand that, but some women abuse the system (golddiggers) and the man suffers......why?

Why is that a concern for you?

Offense has not been the problem. Last year we scored high against GB, San Diego, Denver, and also lost to Detroit in the closing minute. Denver played in the SB and we hung about 49 on them. Trouble is we gave up 51. Personally, I like low scoring contests where a TD or a FG really have some meaning. Main thing Dallas needs is a pass rush. I feel sorry for the DBs having to cover all day long on every pass play. Nobody can do that except Deion Sanders.

Already been done with Ags and Missouri. Ags won the national title beating Bama first year in (lol), and Missouri almost went undefeated in conference play (S.C.) last year. (Let's not forget Missouri's warmup games.) How's that for middle of the pack?

Ags have played their share of pansies to start the season. Now they start with a tough game and have to crow. SMH. Stoops comments were towards Saban, but Ags got a mention and take it and run with it.....like the article is about them.

Good thing they didn't get free meals. I don't see how any athlete's behavior can be the fault of the university. Strong has enough problems making the adjustments of being the HC at the best school in Texas. At least he is dealing with it. Like Old Timer said, let's hope he sticks by his guns.
