I know there are people suffering from Florence, and my heart goes out to them, but it IS the sensationalism that I can't stand. Harvey raised the water to almost cover my street mailbox. Never did I see Anderson Copper standing out there. Weather people were hoping for a Cat5 and got a 1 or less in the Carolinas.

Whatever happened to the statute of limitations?

Giants @ Dallas *** SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL***

Yes, Dilfer was asked to manage the game. He was able to play “not to lose”. Baltimore's defense was crazy good. It keeps me hopeful if we can keep playing good defense. -

So you were able to experience how average Jimmy Johnson is without the benefit of a Herschel Walker deal to provide an instant winner. I am a realist too. I think some of the rust has fallen off from not having played in pre season. The way our defense is playing, and we are getting some players back, who knows? Offense has to get Zeke going. Only QB who could throw for his life every week was Warren Moon. What keeps me going is the fact that Trent Dilfer won a Superbowl, so anybody can. Lol -

Hey, somebody has to beat the bad teams. Lol In the bold, that's why I say they need to get Zeke on track. A running game is a QB's best friend. Everything works off of it. BTW, what pro team do you follow again? -

Before the first game, i mentioned that iwanted to see the Cowboys throw the bomb on the first offensive play.....a la Meredith/ Hayes. Well, they waited until the second game's 3rd play. See how well it works? Lol -
If someone sexually assaults my wife, she isn't going to wait until you are nominated for the scotus to bring charges. Oh the timing of it all.

Dak's biggest problem is the offensive line needs to get Zeke going. -

Who said Dak can't throw the long ball? -
.....and a fake punt.

I'm a Cowboy fan and I cant wait to see the RB for the Giants, who I mistakenly thought I heard an announcer say was hurt last week. I hear he is the real deal. Hopefully my Cowboys can do better than last week. Can't do any worse.....and only lost by 8. Texans QB needs to do better in the clutch. When you took Clowney, the Clemson coach told Texans' mgmt. that he was difficult to coach and is a problem child. Seems to be always hurt. Plays good when he wants but is not consistent every week.

I liked Butler better than Dez. Hope this happens. [Hidden Content]

Wow, even the poll I looked at this morning has Ags @ 22. Oh well, one notch up in suckdom. Looks much better. If you play “good” against Bama, will you move up again without winning?
-
Poll I viewed was #23. Which poll should I use.....ESPN, USA Today?
-
Wow, Ags move up to 23rd, one place behind where USC was when they played Texas, because they played “good”. Since 22nd is considered suckdom, what is this ranking? I mean, if you are going to thump your chest, at least have something to thump about.
-
Unranked now, thanks to “THE” University of Texas.

Yep, couldn't take advantage of the stupid roughing penalty. Hard to do when your QB takes a 15 yard sack. That's my biggest problem with him. Throw the ball away or take off running sooner. He started throwing it away after that. All in all a great effort teamwise. If I could wish for anything more, it would be more sacks early. If you pop a QB a few times, you get inside his head, that goes for any of them.

Yes, that was what I was alluding to in an earlier post. The defense was hitting, and I mean hitting hard, all night. I don,t care for the personal fouls, but when your defense is playing lights out as should be, you are going to see that. If only our backs could catch a ball, the score would have maybe been even more lop-sided. I think USC got hosed on the safety call, and that could have a huge effect on momentum, but the way the defense played, I'm not so sure. Give them 2 points for the safety, but we will never know about the following possession. They could have gone 3 and out......punt.

Man I love a hitting defensive game like this.
-
Texas will never live up to aggie approval so who gives a crap. That was targeting. He needs to be tossed.
-
Well, if USC sucks, then Texas is doing exactly what they should do to a team that sucks! Huge victory over a ranked team! Move along now hater.
-
First game I have gotten to see this season. Love the defensive effort. Need some more sacks like that last one.
-
And the haters should be moving on now!
