Depends on what BH team shows up. With key players back and at home, I think BH wins this one in a close one as long as BH can contain PAM speed. Bend, but don’t break Defense and offense don’t turn the ball over.
Oh and win in the trenches. LP destroyed us in the trenches.

I know my youngest is incoming Junior at BH. I think they have 584 in his class. I believe BH will be around 2,200-2,300 on snapshot day.

Anyone knows what Crosby, LP and BH enrollment numbers were at the beginning of May?
I think BH slides into big 5A next realignment, but in 3 years for sure 6A.

I complained last year about the nasty restrooms, along with the concession stand, which is a 3rd party outfit running out of water (basic necessities for older folks when it’s 95 degrees). If I remember right the stadium was expanded when they brought in the Golden Gators years ago. Personally, they need to revamp the whole thing. Go for a nicer smaller new stadium. I know it cost money, but a nice 3k seat stadium with a cover over stands, new locker rooms, restrooms, and concession stands ran somebody other who’s running it right now would be nice. Also, while I’m on the soapbox 😁 there’s a small ditch in sidewalk as you walk through the front gates that’s taken out Atleast a dozen elderly people in the last couple of years.

FACTS. Was given a chance with no proven head coaching exp. by a terrible AD & it showed. Lamar AD needs to seek out coaches with legit winning resumes like LSU-Eunice head coach.
Almost every parent that’s had a kid play for Lamar since Davis has been there that I’ve talked to has zero good things to say about him. My personal opinion is he misses out on a lot of local talent, but word is out on him now.

Davis sucks, that’s all. Time for new leadership.

Rough game for Eagles. A couple miscues hurt them. Hopefully bats wake up tomorrow. Last 3 games BH has faced a Texas, Oklahoma, and tonight DBU commit on the mound. Getting some quality looks

Have to roll with a Denny led team. BH in 3

Now, 10-0 in 5th, BH flexing their muscles.

Why are the BH games not being broadcast? Seems like a big matchup to not be on texan live
I thought someone said it was somewhere. I don’t think it was Texas Live though. Definitely a big matchup. It was SRO last night.

BH 8 Friendswood 2 in game 1.
SRO at Deer Park.
BH looked good last night. The UT commit for Friendswood was not very impressive. Hopefully the Hill puts it away today. Coach Denny seems to always have his teams prepared in the playoffs.

Sounds like a lot of minor quick fixes. Lights and speakers shouldn’t be to hard to do. A single summer project.
bathrooms would be nice… if I’m not mistaken like I said it’s been some years but y’all just have 1 single concession stand right? In the end zone? They put a pop up small concession under home stands. If it rains, you’ll get wet under stands. Like I said, probably not a new stadium, but need some renovations would’ve probably been a better term.

Granted it’s been some years since I been to yalls stadium. But what would you like to see different/ better?
New restrooms, better speaker system, lights in front of stands is very odd, makes it dark in the stands. It’s really just small things, but bugs me. Lol. I’m just being picky honestly.

I wish BH would entertain a new stadium. Our current one isn’t very good imo.

Again, this team has a knack for holding teams to lows in points. The first meeting, Brook was held to their season low. This game, they were held one point shy of their season low in points. The defense of this BU team is impressive.
But I will say this. Brook has some ballers, some nice length. That Simmons kid is VERY nice! And people better watch out for this freshmen Garrett. He’s gonna be a MAJOR problem the next few years. Very interested to see how THAT kid develops!
I played football with his dad and graduated with him. The kid is legit just like his dad, very athletic. I’ve been trying to lure him to BH, but it’s not working.😂

This topic probably wouldn’t be a big deal on our site if no southeast Texas wouldn’t have played in state championship.😂
I personally don’t care for any of the stadiums. Out of three dome stadiums, I prefer NRG because it’s 40 minutes from my house, and I feel like the stadium seating is better then the Alamodome and AT&T.
homestly, it would be nice if the two schools playing for state got to pick a neutral site like every other round of the playoffs.

In 2014 I was told that it's against UIL rules to allow spectators behind the the FG. I thought that was stupid. It's not like a free throw in basketball where people can distract the shooter to get him to miss. Larry Bird comes to mind. And of course MJ shooting with his eyes closed.
At Barbers Hill, our stadium has stands in end zone for the band. Not sure there’s a rule on that.

BH Achilles hill has always been secondary on defense. If D-line can win in trenches and keep blockers off of our LB’s we have a good chance to slow down PAM RB, which I think is better then LP RB.
On the offensive side, we can move the ball against anyone in the district as long as we don’t make silly penalties and turn it over.
