West Brook was favored by almost everyone from the end of 2024 season on. Yes the guards will be a lot more experienced and bigger this year with Coleman and Jones. That was their problem against West Brook and their bigger guards. They could very well start 3 players over 6’5 and then Jones at 6’2. Coleman is smaller but he is stout and he has high level varsity experience. United will have the chance to go back to back.

Boy Wonder as AAW has coined him finished his high school career 59-1 today. 31 total touchdowns across his 4 years in state championship games, 3 being in 6 man. Pretty impressive for him to translate so seamlessly to 11 man. Excited to see what he does at this level in basketball.

How did Rigdon look in person? Seems he’s adjusting to 11 man pretty well considering some on this site though he wouldn’t.

Rigdon has over 850 rushing yards and 17 total Tds. Not much of a decoy lol

To me it has to be Sells over Miller just for the fact he played more games. Drelon, while you could argue is the better player, only played 17 games.

Toe Toe got hurt in the State semi-final game. He had 8 points in the first 4 minutes before going down. Nijal Pearson played a hell of a game as a freshman that night to keep Central in it down to the wire. If they would’ve snuck past Kimball they would’ve won’t it. Central brought back all 5 starters and still missed out on the state tournament due to how good Ozen was the next season. One of the best seasons of Beaumont Basketball that year with Central and Ozen going wire to wire as 1,2, or 3 with Lancaster all season.

So js the QB who came from Kelly last year just not progressing how they thought he would or it more of a coaching thing?

if Jordan would’ve stayed the hunters would’ve played one year with Darius Riley, NFL player Cam Malveux, and the other 6’6 guy. Think they could’ve made some serious noise Jordans freshman year.

Ashton Simmons Kayde Dotson Clarence Payia Ashton Simmons had a triple double and a game winner yesterday in what has been the game of the tournament so far. Also a much needed win for them to try and make it to bracket play. Congrats on making it to Augusta and go win the thing!

Don’t know how he slipped my mind. He would be on that short list with the 6 I mentioned. From what I heard growing up he was a great player. He still looks like he could give you 12 a game on Tuesdays and Fridays too!
