Man this game is making me mad.
We just stand there and watch them shoot 3s as well.
We lose tonight we deserve it.
Coach needs to fix that

Wait....I thought Yates was playing HJ?? That thread is still going
-
If Silsbee, HJ, United, or any other SE team had these 6’8” transfers, I’m sure we would be defending our team just like the Yates fans. Nothing will change until the UIL follows the rules. It usually comes down to following the $ to find the issue.
-
If it has already been asked in one of the previous 6387 post...sorry. Are the four 6’8” senior transfers from the Houston area?

Either team will be bounced next rd.
But at least HJ would let Yates know there is another team in the gym.

Playing Lake Olympia in case anybody is wondering.
Hope we can hang on and get the win. Probably the biggest challenge these kids have faced so far in their very young basketball lives.
I think that is Sugarland area.

And I know how Lumberton peeps are when they are losing.
It's not dirty play. Just aggressive defensive play. Seen it too many times.
I usually sit on the visitor side at Silsbee home games. Every time aggressive defense is played I hear people in the stands, usually who don’t understand the game, say it is dirty play.

Oh boy... well at least HF won’t be in Silsbee’s district next year. This makes me think maybe Vidor can beat Silsbee next year. Might be crazy to think that but hey at least we beat HF at their place this year.
Take what you can get next year. Silsbee should be down quite a bit with several freshmen and sophomores making up the team...and no Bush. But after next season the tigers will have three strong seasons with each getting better.

Hf is beating us by driving and dishing to a slasher along the baseline. Repeatedly. Also getting in runs of getting all the rebounds.
Good coaching

Silsbee wins as long as they play well in a gym that is 98 degrees F and has 20 seats in the visitor section.
-
Averaging over 30 the last 5 games.
-
I wonder where Bush would rank statewide or even nationally? 38 ppg is a crazy average.

This blowout win tonight in district indicates to me that Silsbee still rules district 22. Maybe WOS had a bad game, I don’t know but the final scores indicates this game was not close. The Tigers was up by 36 at one point of this game
HJ will have a lot to say about who wins this district.

You were close.

I hear the Bridge City 8th grade group is beating teams by large margins this year. This would probably be the game to watch if you want to see how good Silsbee 8th is. Also the Beaumont tournaments, but those may have already been played...not sure.

Varsity at 7?
