Why do you keep saying the same thing? I guess if you say it enough, it might, maybe, could, hopefully, etc. come true. It's good to have dreams, although some dreams can turn nightmarish very quickly. GEAUX BUCS!!

Sounds like someone has taken a few butt kickins from EC. All of this rhetoric that you are throwing out there definitely needs to be aimed at your team. Do you want to know why EC comes off as "arrogant" to people outside of Winnie, it's because they believe that they can win any game that they are playing. If you go into the game passive and "hoping" to win, then the odds are not in your favor. Every winning program has that "arrogant" attitude. I don't care where they are from, but they have it. Just look at arguably the greatest QB of all time, Tom Brady, he plays with that arrogant, I'm better than you attitude. I am an EC graduate, and I can tell you, EC used to be the homecoming game for everyone. If you don't like how the BUCS act, then have your team beat them.

Even if he is a Beaumont kid, what does it matter? I know a lot of people that went to EC in high school moved off and now they want their kids to go to EC. You tell me, is BISD better than ECISD? I don’t think so.

This fight mentioned above, is part of the reason that the UIL does now get involved with punishments handed out. If the fight was as bad as everyone said it was, then there could really be some harsh punishments. I agree fully with the UIL and their suspensions. Kids today do not see the need to accept responsibility for their actions. This is where we have fallen short as a society. I know I have seen my fair share of a belt, switch, etc. and I have turned out to be a pretty good man, and it didn't cause PTSD or whatever the new buzz word is for soft individuals, who are scared to discipline their own kids.

I know Lumberton has a RB that was on JV that finished 2nd in the 100 and won the 200 for the varsity track team at the district meet. Kid can fly.

Canadian I believe has won 3 in a year. Muenster might have also. Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

The game would be moved if EC was still in football. It happens all the time with the small schools. With big schools that have basketball only athletes, they would still play the game.

Raidergirl my nephew is on that team I believe. His name is Blaine LeBlanc. I coach up in NETX and my sister keeps my updated. Said he scored twice tonight. He just moved there from West Brook.

How did Lumberton JV look? I have a nephew that moved to Lumberton this year from West Brook and I saw where he scored last night in the scrimmage.

Its easy, Willie Ray Smith Memorial Stadium. Name it after someone that is a true icon for Beaumont.
