Baylor has been very impressive. i wish they would've played like this in the middle of the season, they had the talent to be a sweet 16 team in the NCAA's.

it will be interesting to see what happens. he'll attract better players than gillispie, but he had a great thing going at memphis

those are some very good points.

there's definitely room for both. if a player is good enough to get a scholarship, he/she will get it regardless of whether or not they play HS soccer. i don't see how an extra 50 or so practices and 20 or so games a year is going to hurt a player's scholarship chances.

having played HS, club, and college soccer, my only comment would be that i enjoyed HS soccer more than the other two. she might be angling towards a scholarship, but in my opinion she's really missing out by not playing for her high school team.

absolutely they have a chance. should they be favorites? NO. but neither of these teams are flukes. both of them are good enough to win two more games and be the national champion.

Tiger is ABSOLUTELY the best golfer of all time. the records that he's breaking would have never stood had he been playing when they were set.

opening game was today. bri scurry proved why she's no longer any good. not sure about any other games.

my sister is looking into colleges right now, and almost all of the contact that she's had with coaches has been through her club team. that being said, she's playing a 3rd round playoff game tuesday night, and she's more excited about that than any accomplishment she's had with a club team (she's on a 5A team from the dallas area, so it's a nice accomplishment to make it this far)

i'm VERY excited for the world's top women players, but i don't anticipate EVER watching another one of these games... it's better than the WNBA, but i'd still rather watch curling.

as an aside, i did notice they have like 5 1-run losses. turn those into wins, and they're a healthy 11-6.

i haven't been following any baseball, but i just saw their record was 6-11. what's going on? they're usually one of the better teams in the area.

i would've liked to have seen him get another year, but now that i think about it, i don't really care. he's getting a pretty sweet payday though!

every year i've had at least one bracket that was in the 99th percentile. this year i made twice as many as i ever have, and i'm doing TERRIBLE! my best bracket is in the 70th percentile. CRAP!!!
