1. he already looks like a pro at the plate.  huge body, fluid swing, 30 seconds to adjust his gloves and fluff his pantcuffs after every pitch...
2. I've seen HF play.  They're lacking in talent, athleticism, size, and poise.  There's no way they're going to compete with their undersized, underperforming team that is easily rattled and doesn't shoot well.  In order for them to compete, they're going to have to master the fundamentals of the game.  you can't teach size, but you can sure teach a proper jumpshot, or how to handle a full court press.  You can work on the things that you can control, like freethrows.  Without superior athletes, i doubt that HF will be playing for a district championship anytime soon, but they can certainly get more competitive.  There definitely needs to be a change of mindset in HF before it's going to happen, though.
3. 70-66, KU back to the line, 26 ticks left.
4. should be over... Kansas up 5 with 34 ticks left, and the fouling begins...
5. KU started OT on a 7-0 run, but CU is creeping back.  67-64, 1:52 left, KU leads.
6. Colorado wasted their chance on a contested 3, shot clock violation.  KU will have about 2 seconds to do something.
7. Colorado drains the clock to 10 seconds and then call a timeout... 8 on the shot clock.  this has been a hell of a game!
8. wow, that's pretty terrible... a disparity of 31 freethrows!?!?!
9. Tie game with 38 seconds.  Colorado will have the ball after a timeout, and can run the clock almost all the way down holding for the last shot.
10. with colorado.  KU leads 55-52 with 5:30 left in the game.
11.
Yeah I know but in a span of 2 weeks a few punches were thrown, and I would like to assume you played four years of high school soccer.
and three of college... the only difference between high school and college was that the punches were usually a little sneakier.
12. jarvis benard's little brother.  i know he's only 8 or so, but that kid can ball!

14. it may not be the best, but HJ has a solid defense in 3A.  it's going to keep them in a lot of games this year.
15. i'm just trying to be realistic.  they've had very similar seasons, but UT had a slight edge in the quality of their non-conference schedule, and Cuse has had a slight edge in the quality of their conference schedule.  Syracuse has 1 loss (against a current top-25 team), and Texas has 3 (all against current top-25 teams).  They've both beaten some really good teams.  It's worth noting that Syracuse' one loss came to a team that Texas beat handily.
16.

Well Pitt was no match for us earlier this year. Georgetown doesn't match up with us IMO. I think wvu is overrated. But Nova has much better guards than Us and matches our depth. They could beat us. Cuse is very long and athletic. We struggle shooting at times so I think their 2-3 zone will give us trouble. Those 2 teams will give us trouble.
Tx will never get past Syracuse. Better hope they are in different regions.
texas could beat any team in the country, Syracuse included.  If they played 10 times, i'd bet it'd go 60/40 or 50/50.
17.
This is sad! I can't believe you guys ran up the score on poor little BC. You know they're only baseball players over there.
they called off the dogs... it could've been 274...  ;D

BH is 4-3.  Still think we are weak?  Its amazing that we lost to prolly the 3 best teams in the district and people are quick to say BH isnt any good, they schedule weak, etc Now BH is winning......nothing?  Ridiculous....just a bunch of haters.   ::)
BH is now 4-6. Yes, the Eagles are not as good as the Hill folks were trying to make them out to be. ;)
oh snap, you just got swagged!
19.
For the two people wondering: San Antonio Churchill beat SA Madison 4-1 to remain in first place with a 5-1-0 district record.
congrats.
20. way to get back on track!
