Liv 3 - HJ 0
glad HJ played a better second half. the shame of it was is that i thought they moved the ball through the midfield better than i'd seen in the other two games i've seen. unfortunately it opened the field up more for livingston's offense, and HJ wasn't able to pack it in as deep as they usually do. two of their goals were from really nice strikes outside the 18.

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Former Oklahoma State basketball coach Sean Sutton has been arrested and accused of attempting to illegally obtain prescription painkillers from out of state. Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs spokesman Mark Woodward says Sutton was arrested Thursday night when he arrived to pick up a shipment of painkillers under another person's name. Woodward said Friday that Sutton was arrested on charges of attempting to possess a controlled dangerous substance and use of a communications device to facilitate a felony. He says the package Sutton picked up contained about 40 pills, including the muscle relaxer clonazepam, two forms of the stimulant Adderall and a fourth, unidentified substance.

I'd much rather Texas' first two games be against a 16 and a 9 than an 8 and a 1.
Thank you! Plus you don't want to wear down your players in the early rounds with tough OT games and you haven't made it to the Final 8
yup. -
i think what he was trying to convey wasn't out of line, but the way he did it certainly was. obviously the struggles of NC basketball is irrelevant next to what has happened in Haiti. Still, if you take what he was trying to say as "This is my life and career, so to me it's incredibly important", then i can understand where he was trying to come from, although it was a terribly unfortunate choice of words.

STOCKHOLM -- Jesper Parnevik said Wednesday he will likely have to quit golf because of a broken vertebrae in his lower back. Parnevik, a five-time winner on the PGA Tour, told Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet that doctors said he needs to have joint fusion surgery, "which means I can't play anymore." The paper reported Wednesday that Parnevik had emergency back surgery on Monday that would keep him from playing for at least a month. The 44-year-old Swedish golfer said a more advanced operation that could risk his career "seems inevitable." Parnevik finished second in the 1994 British Open and is considered one of Sweden's greatest golfers. He had surgery on his right hip last year and did not play a tournament until Q-school in December, when he withdrew before the six rounds were over because he wasn't ready. Back problems forced Parnevik to withdraw from the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles last week. He will visit a physiotherapist in Detroit next week in a last-ditch attempt to prolong his career, Aftonbladet said. "I'll have to hope for a miracle if there's going to be any more competitive golf," said Parnevik, who made headlines by expressing outrage when allegations of Tiger Woods' extramarital affairs were revealed in December. Parnevik once employed Woods' Swedish wife, Elin, as a nanny and was responsible for introducing them. He told Aftonbladet at the time that he had lost all respect for golf's No. 1 player as a man and a father, and regretted introducing the couple.
