tied at 40, 15 minutes left.  I won't say that Butler is getting the calls this half, but i will say that they're not getting calls against them.  they are playing some seriously physical defense, and the refs are letting them get by with it.

The rangers were hitless until the 7th, picked up 3 in the 7th to tie, went down 4-3, and then scored 2 in the bottom of the 9th to open the year with a win!!!

[/quote] ironic that you say this, since you yourself are benefitting from just what i was talking about.  based simply on the team you play for, and your solid, but not eye catching stats, you wouldn't have made the 2nd team 7 or 8 years ago, yet here we are, and you make the team.  also, it's "truly".  good thing you play better than you spell.

Butler wins 52-50!!!  Butler advances to the national championship!  WOW!

Butler makes both freethrows!!!  Butler up 52-49, 5.5 left for MSU to try and tie!

MSU takes 16 seconds to get a shot off, and misses!  6 seconds left, Butler going to the line for 2, up 1!

50-49, Butler leads, MSU ball, 23 seconds left!  what a game!  Butler just got pretty unlucky with a shot that rattled out that would've put them up 3.  they need a stop here bad!

over the last 8 minutes, butler has 4 points, MSU has 3.  Butler leads 48-46, 2 minutes left, Butler ball.

Butler hasn't made a field goal in almost 9 minutes, but they're making their freethrows.  they're up 4, their ball, 3:46 left going into the final media timeout.

47-43, Butler leads, 4 minutes left.  Could we see our first mid-major in the national championship?

Butler up 44-39, 11:39 left.  Sheldon Mack is out with muscle spasms for Butler, which could really hurt them.

Butler up 34-33, going to the line for two, 15:54 left in the game.

Butler ends the half on a 5-0 run to tie the score at 28 going into the break...

Michigan St. leads Butler 22-20 with 4 minutes left in the 1st half.
