just confirmed i can't make it.  sorry to bake out, but better now than the day before the tourney.
..and before you get your money in.  ;D
i may be ignorant, but i ain't stupid!

 3.
I don't believe anything that has been reported lately bin laden.  But, we see now why obama did it.  He's starting to use it on the campaign trail.  Awful fishy!!
;D
 4. could be... i won't argue that.  i just think at this point the abundance of evidence makes it pretty clear that OBL was killed last week (especially now that reports and interviews with conservative congressmen and senators who've seen the pictures are coming out).  plus i like to give smitty a chance to test out his latest theories.
 5. [Hidden Content] Relatives of bin Laden's want proof that the terrorist leader is dead and are calling for an investigation into how he was killed, according to Jean Sasson, an author who helped one of bin Laden's sons write a memoir. [Hidden Content] I Omar Ossama Binladin and my brothers the lawful children and heirs of the Ossama Binladin (OBL) have noted wide coverage of the news of the death of our father, but we are not convinced on the available evidence in the absence of dead body, photographs, and video evidence that our natural father is dead. Therefore, with this press statement, we seek such conclusive evidence to believe the stories published in relation to 2 May 2011 operation Geronimo as declared by the President of United States Barrack Hussein Obama in his speech that he authorized the said operation and killing of OBL and later confirmed his death. I found other various posts online, but nothing on foxnews which i was hoping for.  I did also find, however, several new articles where Bin Laden's son is now saying that the killing was illegal, and that he might even sue :).  Again, if his dad died ten years ago, why would he be so distraught about how he was killed and his burial at sea.
 6. If Bin Laden died back in 2001, why are there widespread reports that his family is demanding proof of his death?  Is that part of their alliance with Obama to lend credence to this fabrication in order to help him stay in power?
 7. Definitely need a concrete plan soon, or I'm not skipping my soccer tournament.
 8.
I know one thing.  The teams left in the West...  Any one of them can turn the tables and win the whole thing.  They're good enough.  This Memphis team is built for 7 game series with 2 big men that wear the opposing team out.  OKC have the best scorer in the league in Durant with the athletisism of Westbrooks and the inforcer in the middle with Big Perk.  Dallas have a matchup nightmare in Dirk and Deadeye shooter Terry.  (you can tell i'm a Wester Conference guy   ;D  ).
as a dallas guy, i'm hoping that this marathon game wore these teams out, and then that they have to go 7 games to determine a winner so that whoever wins can go on to hopefully get beaten up by a well-rested mavs team.
 9.
OKC won in triple overtime to tie the series at 2.  Sounds like I missed a good one,  guess I should have stayed awake.
might have been the best nba game i've ever watched... full of young players who still play with a lot of heart and scrappiness.  memphis came back from 10 down in the last 3 or 4 minutes to hit a 3 with a couple of seconds left to force OT, then from 7 down in OT to force a second.  it was a heck of a game!
 10. we'll see... my partner has home court advantage :)
 11. as of right now trece balas and partner.  if anything changes, it will be soon enough that i'll let you guys know well before the tourney.
 12. The Mavericks look amazing!  Today they are 18 for 29 from 3-point land.  WOW.
 13.
Odem and Bynum ejected.  The Lakers are playing dirty now.  Bynum should be hit with a huge fine.  He could have really hurt someone.
if you're going to lose, lose with class :)
 14. The Mavs have been fantastic!!!
 15.
Yes, another reliever would help this team dramatically.  Hopefully Feliz can come back and add a little spark.  Offense is down at this time, except for Michael Young, who is killing the ball.   Hopefully those bats will get hot for the summer!!!
Yup, Nelly is slumping badly, Kinsler hasn't been good since the first week of the season, and Beltre has been very streaky.  Murphy's been pretty good, and Moreland has been a very pleasant surprise, but with 3 of the 4 major power hitters slumping and the other on the DL, the rangers are having trouble, which is no surprise when you're looking to Andrus, Borbon, and Torrealba for offense.
 16. Are bad right now.  the offense is tame, and the bullpen is AWFUL.  they've continued to get good starting pitching, but with them scoring only a couple of runs a game, and the bullpen giving up at least 1-2 runs a game, they don't have a chance right now.  they BADLY need Hamilton back, but even more so they need Feliz back.  Since their 9-1 start they're something like 5-12, and the bullpen just blew two more leads in the same game, so unless they rally in the 9th they're going to lose another one.
 17.
Fished rollover yesterday and a few nice reds and blk.drum were landed in the evening and a few trout after dark until the tide changed to high and the water cleared @ 11:00 pm then fishing got alot better as the wee hrs before daylight I prolly caught 50 trout retaining a limit of 10 specks to 4 lbs.add in about 20 nice sand trout.I fished w/glow plastics under 2-1,000 watt stage lights and my 3 friends from Baytown limited out on specks w/a cpl.nice reds fishing the edges of my lights. It was a tuff drive home yawning @ 6:30 this morning and we left them biting.Surf was not flat but wadeable w/sandy green water.
which side were ya'll fishing?  we never catch anything out there.
 18. I'd say Rayburn or toledo bend, unless ya'll wanna mix it up and do salt water...
 19.

i fished the last tourney with hippy, but i have another buddy i can fish with to get an extra boat in the water for the next tourney.
My guess is that you just weren't too impressed with his fishing skills.       ;D
I wasn't too impressed with MY fishing skills that day.  I've been out with him a few times, though, and we always have a good time.  I just don't have a boat, but I do have someone else who can go, so i figured he could bring someone like me from the site who does not have a boat (TVC, for example), and I could bring in an extra boat for a tourney.
 20. i fished the last tourney with hippy, but i have another buddy i can fish with to get an extra boat in the water for the next tourney.
 21. that's a lot of posts.

went out to keith lake again tonight and caught 8 specks with 4 keepers in about an hour and a half.  there was no wind, but the water was pretty dirty.  about 7 the wind picked up and the water got awful. took out and put back in on the intercoastal, but nothing was doing under the lights.
I might go check the docks tonight and see if anything is moving. Still might be a bit early yet.
nothing moving last night.

 24. rangers lost both games in the bottom of the 9th after going in tied.  they missed lots of chances to score over the last couple of games, and the bullpen looked shaky in both.  that being said, they were facing a pretty dang good team, and they're still 9-3.
