HJ beats WOS but remains a place behind them in the state polls, despite a far superior record, and a 1-1 headsup record?  I get it that Silsbee played a much tougher schedule, and deserve to not be punished for it in the rankings, but WOS is something like 2-10 against decent/good opponents this season.  HJ may not have played as many "good teams", but they still have more quality wins.

i just remember when everyone was scared that Pat Knight would take off after his success last year.  anybody worried about it this year?

[IMG][Hidden Content]] this was in about 3 hours on Toledo Bend this Saturday.  I also had a 5 or 6 pounder break me off under the boat, and my buddy had two more keepers throw the hook on their first jump.  In all we caught 25 fish or so.  Sunday was very windy.  The place we'd fished the day before was unfishable because the water was whitecapping.  We tried some other spots, and i missed a fish on my first cast of the morning, then caught a 2 1/2 lb fish on my second cast, so i thought it was about to be on, but in 4 hours we only put 2 keepers and 5 or 6 fish in the boat.  still, there are fish to be caught right now.

caught a load of reds, mostly undersized, near the chicken crossing sunday.

Final 81-76, Silsbee wins.  Heck of a performance by the Tigers, and heck of a comeback by the Hawks.  Never thought i'd say this after 2 1/2 quarters, but the hawks legitimately could've won this one.

Hawks hit a 3 with 7 seconds left, timeout.  80-76 Silsbee leads.  Man, those missed FTs really hurt now.  The Hawks have scored 37 points in the 4th quarter.

missing easy looks, and open looks as well.  sheesh.  Silsbee has been the better team tonight, but HJ can definitely play with them.

I don't know how many FTs the Hawks have missed, but its a lot.
