[/quote] i scored A LOT of goals at striker in HS... went off to college, and we had two 1st-team all-state forwards come in the same year i arrived.  I was plenty good enough to be on the field, but not quite as good as those two... so i ended up as a winger.  I would imagine that would be an even more common happening at a school as big as Wake Forest. 

Curious to see how my season goes.  All of the trees that burnt last year have been clear cut, so there's not nearly as much cover, but we've put in about 10 food plots

What's next for Yates basketball?  D2 collegiate championship.  then a move into D1, so they can start giving scholarships to their recruits.

ETBU also beat UT-Tyler, the reigning conference champs, 1-0 last week.  I guess Jose is finally getting them back together.  They haven't had too many competitive seasons since i played there (not that i was the reason)

only been once in the last month since i had to come back to work... looking at maybe going this weekend.

I can't say anything about the PNG fans leaving, because i wasn't there, but i will say this about the PNG posters on here.  The majority of you guys seem to be class acts.  No excuses, no excessive criticism of players, and plenty of credit where it was due.  I read through this thread just to see what the reaction was to the outcome, and was very impressed with you guys.  Good luck to both teams as they move forward. 

Not been good at my uncles house in Nome.  I see them all the way out there, but very few when I actually get there.  Hopefully the cold front helps

i can kinda understand not having a couple of sports that are almost predominantly american.  baseball and softball are played consistently in what, 10% of the countries in the world?

we also had a 14 inch trout get eaten by a 5-foot bull shark about 5 feet from the boat, and he managed to hook himself.  my buddy fought him for half an hour and i got some video of him up to the boat before he broke off.
