most importantly is that the hawks have done it quickly... they've scored 12 in about 1:15.

62-51!  Hawks on a 12-2 run to start the 4th.  finally showing signs of life.  this could easily be a 4 or 5 point game right now if HJ hadn't missed about 12 or 15 freethrows.

HJ with a quick 7-2 run to start the 4th.  62-46.

Tigers lead 59-39 with a minute left in the 3rd.  Hawks are in the bonus.  have a chance to start cutting the lead a little without the clock running, but they have to make them.

game would be a lot closer if the Hawks were making their FTs, but they're definitely getting outplayed.

One thing HJ has done is draw fouls, but they're not making their freethrows.

silsbee is doing a good job keeping HJ out of the break.  HJ's strength isnt in the half court set.

6-0 Silsbee up early.  HJ has to get back in transition.

should be a good game.  yes, HJ lost to WOS, but Silsbee has had 3 fairly unimpressive showings against fairly weak teams in district, so it's kind of tough to judge either of them coming in.  HJ's record is notably better, Silsbee's pre-district schedule is notably harder.  I'll take HJ, but just like i say every year, is anyone really going to be surprised if either team wins?  the only surprise will come if there's a blowout one way or the other.

game tread was quite the freudian slip.  you could make a "they tread on us" joke, or a "re-tread" joke.

I saw 7 does today.  ready for ML season to kick up.  woulda had some meat if it had started today!
