Respectable showing so far.  And HJ usually has a run in them for the 4th quarter.  Of course they aren't usually playing against Yates

[/quote] so when they finished 2nd in the state out of however many hundred, it didn't help them?  i could care less about sounding bitter when i see a public school with a basketball roster who's lineup reads like a college squad with players from all over the greater houston area, the country, and around the world from year to year...  it's BS.

just get an LA license.  you can keep more fish, they don't have to be as long, and you have access to a lot more water.

i hear HJ is just gonna go in and work on the things that Yates needs to improve on since Yates has already won this game in advance.

[/quote] are you basing this analysis on the fact that beat kelly?  or you've seen them play a lot more than one game each?  you lose 4 games in a row, you're going to drop.  we should just ignore 4 game losing streaks if people are hurt, or if the competition improves?  Apart from HJ's loss to state-ranked 4A Central, they have 3 other losses to state-ranked 3A teams, by a total of 15 points.  They beat the crap out of 2A #1 Kountze.  their record is 30-4, by far the best in the area.  And they're currently tied for 8th in the big school poll.  that's how these things work.  you lose, you drop.
