2 bad calls by refs give Vidor a touchdown 

Could it be the Officer was going to arrest the Officials for littering with all those flags?   Just saying......

NEWSFLASH: trying to tackle a receiver before the ball arrives is interfering. 

Refs intercepted that ball for Vidor.

I wish everyone realized how stupid they sound when they say (fill in the blank's) referees are here.  All of the crews are from a wide area and the coaches can veto a crew they don't want.  Do you really think that Jeff Matthews would allow a "Nederland" crew to call the game?

Don't hold and it won't get called

That is not due to obsession over high school sports.  That is simply someone who doesn't have the good sense to conduct themselves in public and probably conduct themselves in that way in other facets of their life.

Well we usually talk about watering the field when we have our spring game.

Every year the one team that scares the crap out of me is Vidor. I still wished we played them first to start District. If we play the clock control game I feel we win this. Go Dogs

Congrats to Mayfield...  Or should I say the Mayfields.  I'm beyond exited for this young man.  He still gets to chase his dreams.  He made a mistake, most teenagers do.   It he accepted the strict terms and contract.  he'll hold it down and I hope Legacy makes major noise in the playoffs.  

Remember this a kid that is being talked about by adults in our community. He already paid the ultimate price by not finishing with his friends. Mistakes are made by everyone. Unless you are perfect, you just need to be happy that his mistake didn't take away a sport he loves. His dad will defend him just like y'all would defend your kid. 

Great news! I'm glad to hear he got a second chance to play somewhere. I wish him nothing but the best for him. I'm not going to Baytown Friday, so if Legacy is at home I might have ride over there and check it out

Student-athletes have to be held accountable for their actions
Student-athletes also deserve a second chance if they take the necessary steps to atone for their misdeeds

-Memorial and PNG are #1 and #2 seeds
-A combination of Central, Nederland, Vidor, or Lumberton will be the #3 and #4 seed
-No playoffs for Ozen, Livingston, or Lee

I am convinced that PAM and PNG are playoff teams and Livingston and Lee are not. At this point, I am not convinced of ANYTHING else.
