watching the replay of the game & the play in question, there is clearly no fake tag or obstruction by ned 3rd baseman in front of 3rd base bag. 3rd baseman is a foot away from inside corner of base lined up to take a throw from second giving runner clear path to base, his back almost facing home plate with both hands on knees.maybe home plate ump was in bad position or blocked from seeing the play correctly, Even if this call was made giving Nederland a run it would be bs for bh.
Sounds egregious, is this a neutral crew from another district

There are lots of fans at both PNG and Nederland who have had season tickets for decades and don't go, or go only when it's a hyped up game. That's probably why you see empty seats most of the time Soulja.

Nederland will return 4 O-lineman, their QB, and second best receiver, they will be very good offensively. Defensively, they lose a lot in the front 7, but make up for it with a group of outstanding DB's all returning. You can cover a lot of gaps if you can cover man to man and Nederland will have the secondary to do it.

Same-ish number of teams, same number of districts, the density should be similar, there will be 8 and possibly 9 team districts??

This could cause some major dominoes to start falling as these two giants get filled.

Many say he's overworked and over exposed to injury as it is getting 30 plus carries in games.

So the school is allowing him to do his work to graduate early, but now they will not let him graduate early. Sounds fishy at best
This doesn't sound right, I think folks are getting stirred up over nothing.

Meh.... he doesn’t have a problem being here 24-7 singing lil bro’s praises.
A few years ago kids wouldn’t have dreamed of leaving their teammates behind for a new team for their senior year. It’s a changed world we live in. Everybody is ok with “taking their talents to Miami” or wherever. It’s no knock on the kid if he pulls out. It’s just the way things are these days.
Did you read about the supposed Why? If true, he would be making the right decision for his future, but I can't imagine this would not be addressed by PNG administration

I would not complain about coaching, but I am complaining about the coaches allowing the players to commit the same penalties, time and time again. Cost them this game.
These kids aren't robots where the. Coach's have a controller???

Explain your expertise! Also, you constantly bring up the Manvel game. Do you feel Nederland lost because of coaching or the athletes?
Good Lord, is this really a question that needs asking.... WOW!!!!

Not sure I would agree with this. But, it's mere speculation on both our parts. Let's take Aledo, they are playing in the second straight Sate Championship. Do you think they have better athletes than Nederland or Port Neches? Or is it coaching? Back went Art Briles was at Stephenville, he won, what, 4 State titles?! They've been decent since but not what Briles achieved. Briles goes to Baylor and has a massive turn-a-round. He leaves and they got to S**t! Think back to the Gordon Woods at Brownwood (6 Titles) and G.A. Moore at Celina (5 Titles), you think these people always had the talent? Or was the athlete coached to get them were they needed to be? A lot of times coaches will use the "we don't have the talent" excuse to cover for their failings. By the way, in the 70's, you think PN-G had the overall talent to win as much as they did? Or was it Doug Ethridge, the coach?
If you were at the Manvel vs. NEDERLAND game, you might have a better perspective. NEDERLAND was outmanned at 90% of the positions and were within 10 heading to the 4th qtr. Thats kids playing extremely hard, believing because of their confidence in the program, and coaches coaching out of their minds to give the kids a chance. I don't know if there's a coach on the planet that could've taken the Nederland kids and beaten Manvel or George Ranch. It feels good to tyoe it on a messageboard, but reality is in the other corner.

This is just our first team for football. Second team will be released on Sunday in the newspaper.
13 selections on offense (2 QB, 3 RB, 2 WR, 5 OL, 1 K), 13 on defense (4 DL, 4 LB, 4 DB, 1 P)
Football is slides 1 to 24. Five players were not at the event (Kalon Barnes, Silsbee | Jonathan Hageon, Silsbee | Elijah Hines, Memorial | Preston Riggs, PN-G | Paul Ivory, WO-S)
Superlatives also included in the slideshow.
I'll comment when I see the lists, not sure who is on it by the pics. But certainly would expect Simmons who led 225a to be in if Hines was on the team. Congrats to all the selections, especially, the 2 returning in the Dogs secondary.

That’s what a good brothers suppose to say.
Only 11 years old at the time, I was at every game they played in 89. On the sidelines for some of them.
Like I mentioned, that A&M consolidated team was for real, and was led by an amazing QB much like your brother and only scored 31.
The 2017 version would get beat down badly!
Badly, no doubt. 89 team played offense AND DEFENSE, wouldn't be close
