I will be needing to locate 3 tickets. If not I will have to tunnel my way into the game. Anyone have a drainage system map around Bulldog stadium?
Also, this might get me scalped as I am a lifelong Indian, but I love the atmosphere playing Nederland in Nederland.
It's a little cozier

I applaud Central fans for believing in their team and backing them all the way, I think this was a game that everyone else kinda knew that PNG was gonna handle fairly easily. And that’s not a knock on Central at all, png is just that good! Keep the playoff hopes alive Central, we'll do our best to knock of Nederland next week for y’all
Ain't happen in, we're coming.

Joey Price is Right? Isn’t that the field goal extraordinaire that missed wide Right in MCM that year as time expired and tears were rolling down the cheeks of the almighty fair weather fans?
Geez, it was from 50 plus yards, come on. That dude could kick. PNG played an incredible game against what is arguably the best Nederland team over the past 50 plus years.

I would agree, Lee is trending up, they really need more numbers. Maybe a couple of wins will bring kids out

Lumberton should be able to move the ball on the ground, Central has a lockdown secondary, but doesn't play the run well. But not sure if Lumberton has the defense to hang with the Jags speed. I give the edge to the Jags

So you think Vidor beats PAM or PNG, which one? Gotta beat both to get to 6-2

Yes, it was a legit offside call at the end. They threw a bunch both ways. I actually felt the refs called a pretty even game. Most of ours were unsportsmanlike 15 yarders, I think 3 of them.
I agree, it takes away from effort of the boys when people blame outcomes on the refs. The vast, vast majority of outcomes have nothing to do with officiating, it truly is the cry of people who don't know what it takes to be a winner.

Pretty simple, Central was offside, Ned block in back, offsetting. Penalty numbers and yardage were about even. Ned grossly outgained Central and had about double the 1st downs. Hats off to The Jags for finding a way to win.

To PAM and PNG, which could happen. Then their fate is in their own hands.
Vidor would only have 3 losses, Central would still have to beat PNG

I may be wrong, but in that scenario it would go off of points, which Vidor should be top because of how bad they beat Central as opposed to how close the other head to head games were.
Then I would assume since central beat Nederland they would be 4th spot.
But I may be completely wrong lol
Vidor and Ned on points, they all split head to head. Too much football left though to assume they finish in a three way tie

Congratulations to my Jaguars. Before the game I had no doubt of what this group of young men could do. We had some tough losses to Port Arthur Memorial and Vidor and EVERYONE that didn't wear maroon and grey was counting us out. EVERYONE! They showed tonight what I been trying to tell everyone, we are a pretty sound and balanced team that will make the playoffs. And this group of coaches, did something that hadn't been done in a while, beat Nederland.
Nederland has NOTHING to hang their heads about. #3 had at least 150 yards between the 20's but when he got in the redzone, we found a way to slow him down. The kid is quick and our safety's probably were our leading tacklers tonight. For some reason seems like the Bulldog coaching staff went away from him late in the game. #22 was held in check for most of the night. He had a short catch that he broke some tackles on for the tieing TD but for the most part "The No Fly Zone" was in full affect. #51 On the D-line is an animal.
With Lumberton, PN-G, Livingston and Lee left, we are back in the thick of things...
Simmons was cramping throughout the 4th qtr so missed a couple of series. Nederland did a lot of damage between the 20s and the had the fumble on the Jag 1 that was a killer. Nederland defense only allowed 1 first down in the 2nd half until the game winning drive. Gotta tip your cap to the Jags, they didn't quit and made several big plays on the last drive. Congrats.

That's what happens when you beat up on the likes of Lee and Livingston and think you have something. Same thing for these puppies over here...

Very good game, Central has a good football team. 2nd half adjustments will decide it

How PAM felt playing playing at Nederland!
Not on the phantom face mask call they didn't feel that way. That play pretty much decided the game, 4th down stop without the help from the refs, and I think Nederland goes on to win 7-3.
Both teams played too hard to have some fan minimize the effort and the outcome. Find some other way to be cute, this isn't.

In my opinion this game is bigger than MCM...the reason I say this MCM more than likely won't mean anything but bragging rights this game will probably decide District Champion
PNG better hope MCM means something, cuz Nederland is planning on winning out and playing for a share of it in MCM???
If MCM doesn't mean anything this year, it'll be because PNG got beat by PAM.

I really miss the player features, in my opinion, that was the heart of the sports section.

On a Memorial thread 2 weeks ago, a Nederland fan I believed made jokes after a statement I made about a Nederland/Memorial JV game. He jokingly said that I seen alien spaceships. So after Memorial beat them, the obvious reason was because there was an alien abduction...
Soulja's post: "Someone told me the Nederland/PAM JV game got chippy and coaches for Nederland got mad at PA because a Nederland defender got a stiffarm from hell... Coaches even started chirping... "
The response was, "Someone told me they saw an alien spaceship at the gam"... nothing was said about aliens and PAM beating Nederland, that's just space jibberish.

That's how I see it as well, but you never know. This district almost always seems to have some kind of crazy ending to the season as far as seasons go. Coin flips anyone? Lol.
No coin flips this year, each team will play all of the district opponents, so it will be on established tie-breakers if needed.

Nederland has some momentum from last week, will be tough to beat.

truth is, this is basically the same tem from last year minus two good wr's. nederland was HURT last year. these kids are healthy again and back at it
You have paid attention very well, that's a good take. Hopefully the health remains.

Oh, ok, got it now. So that's who our #6 will shadow all night. After playing 2 run heavy teams in Memorial and Vidor and nothing from Ozen, looking forward to playing a more balanced offense. I think our secondary in pass coverage is a "No Fly Zone", just hadn't had the opportunity to show. If Bulldogs beat us, it won't be with the pass...
You're right, it will be with Simmons and that O-line, good call
What the heck.... Lets give the people what they want..........MCM 2017

If I wasn't working out of town, I'd take your dinner bet... just to see if you could choke down Waffle House after this game... may make you sick. Nederland plays the run strong, and has DB's who can cover. PNG definitely the favorite, but I've seen these Dogs ball all year and in the year of Tom's death... they WONT BACK DOWN, come on.
