19-4A needs to remember, last year we were 6 points away from a sweep. 20-4A currently owns 19-4A until otherwise proven different.  8)
When is the last time Nerderland beat BH? If I recall last yr. BH was the only team to beat Nederland in regular season play. BH is Nederland's Daddy ;D
 2. Summer Creek's QB will be too too good for the Dayton secondary to handle. SC 21 Dayton  14
I don't freeze sand trout because they are mushy when they thaw even when frozen in water. I eat them fried when they are fresh. My favorite spot in Nov. for sandies is seawolf park after a cold front. Trout were biting early in Trinity Bay under birds this past week. The bite was over by 10:00am.
LOL. My son went to BH...I did not.  ;) Some of those Dayton folk do remind me of Aggies.  ;D
Leave the AGGIES out of this. You are starting to remind me of a tea sip.
 5. This game may have been closer had we not made so many mistakes on special teams. Couda...wouda...shouda. The SC qb was spot on w/his passes and was only really pressured a couple of times. I don't think we ever even touched him. BH defense did much better the 2nd half. Too many mistakes the 1st half sealed our fate in this one. Dayton can shut down their running game but can they stop the pass? That is the question.
 6. It is time for BH to get some turnovers for a change. I am predicting a pick six for BH tonight! Go secondary :D
 7. I will be there with my wife and father. I hope I will be able to hold down my dinner with all that purple surrounding me in the stands. I think I would be more comfortable if all you Daytonites would go ahead and root for SC, otherwise it might be too much of a shock to my system ; :o
 8.

Wakey Wakey SC. Judgement day has arrived. You have been found guilty of beating up on weak teams and do not say Crosby anything..... We were drunk that night---- you can't hold it against us. It's going to be a good night. On a serious note........ Congrats to Dayton for the #4 ranking. Don't let 19 4A down and SC. We will find out tonight if it's all hype or the real deal. I don't think your QB has really been hit up to this point. Tonight he will be hit.
Need to stay off the hooch then. That's two years in a row you've been drunk and 4 out of the last 5. Might need to go to Betty Ford Center. Y'all had 2 months worth of film on Dayton to prepare with. Dayton and Crosby have about equal athletes. BH has less talented athletes but are very disciplined and run a good scheme. Crosby's offense is about getting players in space and letting them do their thing. Dayton just wants to line up and out-athlete you, for instance throw bombs on man, run jet sweeps, try to break a bubble screen. If they can't loosen you by going over the top then they're most likely going to have trouble running it. BH, King, and Elkins were examples of that. BH has trouble whenever a coach can figure out how to put his players in space, that's why Crosby usually runs up the yards on y'all and thay's why Ozen put 40 on you last year in the playoffs. Summer Creek isn't Dayton. They're going to have bigger, faster, and more skilled athletes than the Broncos and all SC does is find a way to get in space to use their athletes on you. I know because y'all played Dayton close at home you think your team has greatly improved, but like Smoke told the Dayton fans "reality check is coming in about 8 hours".
You are correct that we have been beaten by Crosby and Ozen because we have not done well when we are spread out, or as you say, in space. However our defense is much improved with the changes that were made after the Crosby game. You are wrong in saying our offense is all Kaleb. Our offense is our offensive line, and other blockers which allows our backs to score. Unfortunately, in the Crosby game,  I felt like our offensive line got beat, which happens rarely. If we can block the SC "UBERlinemen", we will win the game. BTW, How did KP play Crosby so close?
 9.
So Denny is playing tomorrow? "it is" read it somewhere  ::) he was playing.. so the surprise has been spoiled....
I don't believe Kaleb will play. If he does he won't be at full speed. He could possibly come in, in a passing situation and drop straight back to throw. However I don't think they would take a chance on him reinjuring his ankle before the 1st playoff game. We won't need him against New Caney. Blake will do fine tonight.
 10.
This is gonna be a close game.. I think it can go either way.. people can throw out all the stats they want (cougar14). But in the end it will come down to who wants the W more.. SC has the advantage being on their own turf. But I think BH can win in a nail biter. I am sure I will be reminded repeatedly I said BH could win in a nail biter...  :)
I agree. I think this will be another defensive struggle. SC will play against the best defense they have seen this year. If we can get some turnovers for a change we might win. BH  16 SC  14
 11. Who will BH likely play in the 1st round of the playoffs?

But balke sis a great job IMO.  Denny has been the starter since his freshman years.  A lot of experience goes with that speaking the obvious here.  Blake did a great job coming in and filling in for a 3 year starter now.  You Dayton folks can brag all you want you got the W but you did it with 2 fluke plays.  Now had that busted play been just a first down play like it was intended to be the ponies might have actually earned a TD and not have had one of the 2 handed to them.  It was a hard faught game between 2 really good teams just so happens Dayton got the breaks and the W.
bh beat dayton. Did I miss something. Honestly your oponion is ignorant. A kickoff return for a td is not a fluke play. Now dayton muffing the xtra point that was a fluke. The way I see it the score should of been 7-6 and dayton wouldnt have needed that last td.
There was a penalty that gave them a second chance at the kick off return.  Other wise they would have been inside the 5.  So a great return set up by a penalty.  The go for it on 3rd and short and it turning into a TD.  Ok maybe not flukes… but lucky helps with skill there you happy? My point is BH beat Dayton on offense and defense with the 2 field goals.  But it just wasn’t enough thanks to lady luck mixed with some skills.  There get it?  Ignorant would be convincing your self that two lucky breaks means Dayton was the better team.  They won... They got lucky!  But sometimes you have to be good to get lucky.  That they are but they could lose to the hill just as easy as they won.  Hats off to the ponies and there win.
I guess it was lucky for Bh we muffed punts all night long and gave BH excellant field postion  and it was lucky we stuffed your offense  inside the red-zone how many times. It was lucky BH only had 11 players to stop a guy run 95 yds for a TD.It was lucky you got Home-field advantage two years in row.It was lucky for Dayton we had more penalties than BH also Dayton had a penalty on a kick-off -lucky Bh couldnt return it for a TD.Lucky BH offense sputered with 2 min left in the 4th keeping them from getting a fluke TD to win the game. Thank god for luck.
Lucky for Dayton BH got an offsides on a kickoff otherwise y'all would have been stuuck on the 5yd. line and would not have had the TD return.
 13.
# 40 for BH will be riding Sharp like a Dayton Bronco ;) He laid waste to Dayton's Offense last Friday. 6-3 & 235 pounds at LB he brings the hat every time. [/quote I say we play Dolan at fullback and Nick at one of the tailbacks. Then play smashmouth and control the clock. The only problem is figuring out who to sub at LB for Dolan? He could only go for so long both ways IMO.
 14. I believe Kaleb has a regular spraign not the high ankle type. Doubt if he will be ready for SC. Probably will play against New Caney. Just a guess.

Where you at?
I ate mine already, but I'll take another bite. ;D
no no... you did fine... he was the most cocky. Just thought I'd call him out.  ;D ;D I'm glad we aren't on the losing end of this one....  8)
I must admit if you would have lost with our 2nd sting QB in , I might have served some crow tonight ;D just a little though ;)
no doubt. I was a little sad to see that Denny couldn't take a hit though. ;) ;) ;)
Yeah I bet all of the Dayton fans shed a tear with Denny went out :'(  Does anyone have an update on Denny. I hope it is just a tweak, but he didn't come out after the half.
I was told it was a high ankle spraign. No broken bones. Don't know yet if he will be out for the SC game. They have practice tomorrow morning. I may get an update after the practice. Dayton did a good job of stuffing our run game for the most part. Corners were well coached and linebackers were fast. Too fast for us to break any long runs outside the ends. Dayton's vaunted offense was throttled except for a great kickoff return and a good instinctive run after being stopped cold in the 4th quarter. The Broncos did what good teams do. They found a way to win. Congratulations Dayton. I am more confident now than ever about our defense and I think we can get past the 1st round this year.
 16.
Dayton 38 Ant Hill 21 50 + yard FG from Carranco to open the game. Let's go Broncos
Carranco will only be able to kick for two quarters. Looks like a stiff North wind will be blowing. And he won't get but one kickoff ;D Hasn,t he been off a little lately?
 17.
Will someone other than the 1 lumberton fan and a few bh fans please start picking bh in the pickem challenge. I dont like it when basically everyone picks dayton to win its freaking bad luck. Another thing all these polls that have dayton ranked so high are putting a big fat target on their back. Im picking bh 49-0. Maybe that will help even out the karma.
Ok then. I will pick Dayton 54-0. Not!
 18.
DEAR 19-4A: Please let BH into the playoffs...Its a tradition for one of our Teams to send them home. Don't mess up our routine! Sincerely, 20-4A
We would love to get a crack at PNG. You are on crack if you think PNG can beat BH this year. We would have beat you last year too. You don't have the spread offense and speed that Ozen has. Is PNG even going to make the playoffs this year?
 19. Nuff said BHfan. Nothing else to add to your evaluation :)
 20. Crosby's linemen on both sides of the ball can dominate King and KPark. The Walter twins will run through and around with ease. It will be no contest unless they are not mentally prepared and suffer multiple turnovers. And, no, I don't think King has the speed to compete with Crosby.
 21.
Im guessing the streak continues this week but i hope the coach sticks the discipline he set forth or otherwise it will be in the inmates ruling the aslyum
The inmates have been running the asylum for quite some time at Sterling.
 22.
The head of the defense was limping and missing tackles im pretty sure thats why he sat out.
Towards the end of the Lumberton game they scored their only touchdown while committing an offensive penalty. Coach Gage declined the penalty so Lumberton could keep their points. That was classy. Tonight, something with the referees or Porter got coach Gage's dander up. He was still angry about it at the end of the game. Our 2nd and third strings played from midway through the 3rd qtr on both sides of the ball. We shouldn't begrudge them the right to keep scoring just because we are so far ahead. Our young players got a lot of valuable playing time and experience. Congrats to #25 on scoring his 1st varsity touchdown! Having said that, it was somewhat of a sloppy game on our part. We wouldn't have scored so many points except for the fact that they were so bad. I am sure we will be ready for Dayton in two weeks. Not much parity in this district. Either you are one of the four decent teams or you are one of the four really bad teams.
 23. Great job Preston. Glad to see you are doing well. Best wishes on a continued good season.

 25. Thurman Blake could carry the whole team if things got tough. He was a great leader as well as a very good RB.
