1. Good passing teams are always scary for me to watch. However coach gage has proven he will have the BH players ready to play. Even if it is against a losing team. I think Bh will score at least 40 again this week. BH 45 Porter  14
 2. Just political correctness. I am sure someone got their feelings hurt and complained. I miss the drum and bugle corps too. Kinda like changing Battleground rd. to Independence Parkway, too violent sounding.
 3. I think everybody on the team got to play tonight. Most of the starters were pulled after the 3rd quarter. Another stellar performance.

 7.
Overall I think we are about even or maybe slightly better.  The areas were are not as good in, I see us getting better every week.  Defense - Pass defense is better, run defense a little off from last year, but imporved each week (one of the adjustement people mentioned). Offense - Our QB is a junior and has more experience.  Passing game is there when we need it.  Run game is probably a little off from last year, but an adjustement there seems to be paying off.  Special Teams - Little off to same.  Kicker had a bumpy start, but played very well last week.  Return game has been good enough.  Return defense has been pretty good.  Got two guys on return defense that are fast and will lay avhit on you.
I agree with you smoking baby for the most part. However I think it is still too early to say whether this team is better than last years. I don't think the teams we have played at this point in the season, with the exception of Crosby, are near as good as the teams we played last year. We won't know until the Dayton game. Remember that this is supposed to be a rebuilding year with a lot of young players to replace seniors that graduated. We have done well against lesser competition, as we should.

So on that game im hopin no RAIN hit us so bh can play SC in a good match up
It wasn't the rain. More like the Walter lightning! We have gotten better since then though, with the changes on defense.
 11. Dayton 21      KP      10 The only decent player I saw for KP was their punter/kicker. Qb has a strong arm but not very accurate. Dayton's low score is due to their penchant to play down to their competition's level.
 12. BH will not have a let down against Humble. This coaching staff does a good job of keeping the kids from getting lackadaisical. BH will play them one game at a time. We will leave it to Dayton to play down to their competition ;D If BH allows Humble to score it will most likely be against the 2nd or 3rd team players who may get to play the entire 2nd half. King game at BH, Price and none of his other coaches were allowed to shake any of the BH coaches or players hands. What does that tell ya? Not exactly good sportsmanship on their part. I do wish the C.E. King player a speedy recovery.

We had a fumble in the first half on the KP 5yd. line which would have made the score even worse. Our lineman dominated on both sides of the ball making it look easy. The most awesome play of the game occurred when after the 2nd team offense failed to get a 3rd or 4th 1st down on a drive in the 4th qtr.; Caleb got ready to punt, and when he got the deep snap the whole KP return team turned and ran back to set up blocks forgetting to even look at Caleb. He ran straight up the field for about 25yds. and a BH 1st down. It was hilarious!
That was awesome! I have never seen anything like that. The snap was even high and he was hurring to punt when he looked and it was like "Were is everybody"  ;D
KP was not mentally prepared for the onslaught of brute force and overwhelming shock and awe. Coach Gage had our boys fired up before the 1st kickoff and he was running back and forth like a wild man firing up everybody else as well. And he wasn't squatting down picking artificial turf on the 20yd. line either. ;D

KWP has two shutouts to BH's zero shutouts and BH scores more while KWP allowes less ::) It looks like we both have simnilar offenses, so this game should be over in an hour ;D Still think with BH's adjustments last week that they are going to come out ready to play and take it Park, but we are going to have to learn to play in the rain!
As a sophomre I played on a JV team at Sterling that went 10-0. Then if you add the freshman team I played on and Varsity as a jr. I played in 19 consecutive wins at Sterling. We were finally beaten by Kline 15-14. Most of us cried all the way home on the bus. We just did not know how bad it felt to lose. Winning, like losing, is contagious. But that was back in the day when we had discipline in the schools and Big Al.

They aint been around long enough to have a Homecoming LOL. The BH defense is starting to look really good. They moved some speed around and placed some good step up players in for the injured ones. The offense is clicking pretty well. King didnt let O'Neal have a huge night but he still got his yards and MVP's arm looks good when he lets it fly. That tight end Gray is a nice target. 6'4" and did you see his one handed 35 yard snag? I'm glad its a Sat game so that I can go and watch Crosby vs SC. I'm sitting on SC side. I'll be the white guy in the BH shirt. I wont look out of place at all. BH-35 KP14
O neal i think got around 70 yards, but the Speers kid ran for 116! That is what BH needed another back to step up and carry the rock! The Catch by Gray was awesome! Think would like to sit on the SC side ,but that darn parking Crosby has sucks!. There is going to be quite a few BH folks at this game.
One entrance in and one exit out. I am glad I don't have to go back to Crosby till 2014. I will then park on the Crosby side and walk around to sit w/BH. The last time we played KP was 2009 and we won there by a FG in the last few seconds. It will be a good game but BH wins this one to stay alive in the playoff hunt. BH  28 KP  24

I noticed during the game that we had injured both of them, and one of their reievers as well.
Not you too!!! lol      I hope King can bounce back from being banged up against BH. [/quote I don't know how banged up they were, but their C.E. King coaches wouldn't shake anyones hands after the game. Not showing very good sportsmanship considering we pulled the starters shortly after the beginning of the 3rd period.
