Ozen Sophomore Dominique Brannon wins Gold in girls High Jump clearing 5ft. 6 in. at the Carl Lewis Invitational held at the University of Houston January 15, 2011.  According to ESPN Rise/DyeStat Dominique's unattached performance is ranked tied for US #7 High School girls indoor T & F. Silsbee's Ashly Johnson has also jumped '5 "6 this year. Johnson's jump was at the Vidor meet.

I really cannot understand what all the fuss is about. This is a NO BRAINER!!! The administration can't be that dumb. This SHOULD and IMO, will be Cornell's job. He deserves it. The time will come soon enough for Toby. I predict Cornell to stay another 5 years then the reigns will be handed over to Toby and he will be more than ready to take over. It is just that simple folks. Cornell, then Toby= continued success at WOS.

I think this is a very good hire and deservedly so. I also like the fact that he is looking to enhance all the sports there, not just football. Glad to see he is taking a serious look into hiring a boys basketball head coach.

[/quote] Silsbee and Bridge City did just that last night. They went into a lightning delay for 30 minutes in the bottom of the 5th with Silsbee (the home team) leading 6-4 at the time. The resumed play after the 30 minute delay and finished the game, all 7 innings. I don't understand why this game did not finish.
