The Silsbee Tigers will take on the Orangefield Bobcats in 21-3A action, TONIGHT at 7pm in Orangefield. Silsbee (15-4, 4-0) #3 in this weeks SETX polls, defeated Hamshire-Fannett Thursday night, 3-2, to remain unbeaten in district play. Orangefield (8-10, 3-2) lost to Bridge City, 5-0, but remains alone in 3rd halfway thru district play. Silsbee defeated Orangefield 9-1 in the first half of district. One has to wonder how many of these teams listed has the correct info for them. Case in point LCM. They have them at 15-4, 5-0 as of April 6 but in actuality they are 16-7, 5-3 by April 6. You just have to wonder what other teams records are in accurate. To have LCM ranked in the top 10 and PNG no where in sight pretty much discredits this poll.

Hamshire-Fannett (10-6, 0-4) lost their 4th straight game by losing to Bridge City 8-1. These two teams split their district games last season. Several Hamshire-Fannett ISD parents have put out a petition to include current Kountze AD/HC Lance Dale to the two finalists for the AD/HC job at HF. Hope to get more details soon.
