2.

In defense of Jordan, his role on this team is still being defined. Which leads me to this question: As a sophmore, was Frank's role defined?
His role was defined as a freshman dove he was that good lead the team in scoring during the playoffs as a freshman btw that team went to state hunter is good but not that good...IMO frank is the best player to touch the hardwood at ozen with exception of perk frank...but maybe hunter isn't reaching his full potential cause saveat is coaching him that might have a lot to do with it
My one statement for the season:  All too much I have personally heard J. Hunter's name and Franks name in the same sentences. The two are VERY DIFFERENT.  The Hunter household whole heartedly respect Franks game. J Hunter loves his game. But be clear J's desire or goal is not to live up to any measurement of Frank or any other guard out of Ozen. The goal is to be JORDAN HUNTER ONLY whether that is better or lacking. The measuring stick lies far beyond the walls of the Golden Triangle.

Wasn't expecting this. Gives me more incentive now to make sure he takes out the morning trash, clean his room this weekend, & dishes.
For an awesome player like Trey Green to say such kind things about the boys...underclassmen... it is truly an honor. Great to have leaders like Trey to nurture & groom the youngins coming after him! Thanks Aggie for posting...nice surprise:0)....didn't know it existed: 0)
 4.
My congratulations to all these boys as well. They work hard and deserve the recognition they get.
Those are really nice words:) That's all I really wanted to do was publicly congratulate mine and others and shine some light on Jim Hicks for others to be aware of. He is a person to be aware of b/c we went to Baylor for unofficial visit last month and there was Jim Hicks picture in plan sight on a coaches desk...he has really blown up in the world of recruitment recently. So people need to know those people that can help drop their child's name for possible scholarships. ... FREE TUITION. So again, Congrats to all! I am officially crawling back into my hole:)
 5.
No Kristian Smith, Shawn Prudhomme, Kelton Gaines? List missing some good players.
There may be names missing, but rest assured that there will be many names that should be listed and are not... I've seen that personally, too many times, unfortunately :( Aggie has lots of life lines and may have the rankings possibly, so I am sure if he does, he wouldnt mind providing any additional names if there are any.
 6. Jim Hicks: RCS SPORTS GREATER HOUSTON AREA RANKING RELEASE: This week, Jim Hicks nationally reknowned High School Boys Basketball Analyst, released his Annual 2011-12 Houston (Greater Houston) Area High School Boys Basketball Rankings. Several local high school basketball players were listed. This is great for our area because college coaches, national ranking agenices, and national media services such as ESPN follow Jim closley!  Jim is directly responsible for putting talented Houston area basketball players under the recruiting radar.  So, here are the local high school players that were honorably listed! (If any players were inadvertently left out, PLEASE feel free to add and much apologies in advance). Sophomores (class 2014): Torrian Lott: ranked #46 (Memorial HS) Zjori Bosha: ranked #48 (Hardin Jefferson HS) Chris Dumas: ranked # 81 (Hardin HS) Freshmen (class 2015) Jordan Hunter: ranked #2 (Ozen HS) Dorian Chatman: ranked #4 (Memorial HS) E'Torrian Wilridge: ranked #16 (Central HS) ****For official rankings see "Da Magazine" found in Houston Barnes & Nobles Bookstores****

He Is A Great Addition To Silsbee He Can Rebound Has Good Ball Handling And He Seems To Have A Good Shooting Form. Once He Gets In Rythm And In Shape And Learn Silsbees Style Of Play He Should Be A Big Help This Year For The Tigers!!
I was told about this transfer Friday night by a Silsbee coach. Indeed, Silsbee has three transfers (1 from PA, 1 from Houston, 1 from Dallas) '6"3, '6"1, '6"2 Also was told that there could be a potential 4th transfer but will have to wait and see. It would be hard pressed to state that those three transfers moved from PA, Houston and Dallas to Silsbee just for athletic purposes. ::)
Ok- then we will just assume it was for academic excellence such as is the case for No Look
Assume away.
Speaking of transfers...Aggie you predicted that the Hunter boys would not be playing Varsity this season...its now official...based on unusual STRONG...FORMAL recommendation from their**** Previous "Athletic Powers" that be*****,the boys were found to have left for athletic purposes. They will be penalized with one year of sub-varsity play. So, for the next six months the boys will be working hard in the classroom and their JV teams until summer. Fortunately, the boys remain relentless while the recruitment  letters continue to arrive. So, now it can be reported as official because there was no vote until last Thursday. Oh Aggie...Jordan just this past weekend went on an unofficial visit to Aggieland! We were thoroughly impressed to say the least. The Aggie's "beat the hell" out of Baylor. The game was awesome! Gotta love that Aggie pride and tradition: )
 8.
If he has a medical reason to not workout at school (running), then how can he play in tourney games this weekend like Dove said he was preparing for? ::)
since u are soooo well connected then you would know surely that the physician's note never stated he could not run...somebody else's interpretation. Your sources suck media man. But then again..no explanation is owed to you...your not even a longhorn...just a nosey pot stirrer! So that's your last explanation....you'll have to just keep rolling w/ your misinformation and non-credible sources.
 9.
Can't believe that these kids are getting away with that. So as a parent you are condoning the fact that it is ok to not do as your coaches ask and do your own thing?  If a kid can get away with that I have a prediction for next year, the kid will avg 20 pts per game and HF will stay where they have been in the district. As I have said it looks like the problem was not with the coach but that the kids/parents did not agree with how the program was being run.  I knew the old coach and I think that this is the best thing to ever happen to him so that he does not have to be a part of this implosion that was wanted by a few with their own agenda.  Keep playing all that individual stuff gonna be great times over there.
Ignorance is hard to hide..in this case its BLARING! In the end, I don't really care what u or Aggie assume about my son. He had and has a legitimate medical reason for sitting out and continues 2 as late as last Friday. His Doctor is not some quack who just writes excuses when I ask. U r giving me far too much credit.  So wildcatter...u r void on facts. And IMPLOSION?  I am perplexed?  I no longeri dicuss the former coach...thats now the past and irrelevent to today. MOVE ON! So..I have made my point..u know nothing abt any personal matters w/ my sons medical conditions and again, if u do that's a huge problem w/ faculty that keeps rearing its ugly lil head & needs 2 be ceased and silenced today. "LOOSE LIPS...SINK SHIPS" So u & Aggie just keep talking and soon the mole will finally be revealed to us all.  Now...I am done letting u jerk my chain.
Well, the gym was open today and only 3 players were in it, all 3 being 2nd team JV players. Where were the rest of them? ::)
Mine was working out to play this weekend in a tournament.
How is your son able to work out for games this weekend when he can't even run during athletics? Is walking around the track reading a book considered working out?
Well as I guessed there is a mole at HF.  Hopefully, you will not give me any inkling that you know why he's not been LIFTING WEIGHTS in athletics b/c then that mole will be letting out personal medical info which is a no-no! Come Monday..I am sure the Mole will have more info for you..b/c now he wont be walking but just reading a book. The school is full of moles which is why I got such a chilly reception a couple weeks ago. Aggie the mole should beware...you are dangerous!
 11.
investigation coming on this one, you can bet suspected steroids.......heads up "always in the weight room and wanting to see birth certificate........what a tragedy I hope this is just congenital problem and not steroid linked......this is just plain sad no matter what way it falls.....
Dont be so quick to judge...Every athlete needs an EKG! My son just had one and guess what?...I get to take a trip to the Cardiologist tomorrow! So not every incident is steroid related...people can be SO quick to judge!
I am hearing that mammagotjuice will be the area's first woman head boys basketball coach. ;) Assistants will be Penny Hardaway and Walter Yates Sr., with consulting from Greg Wise of Houston Yates.
pretty formidable crew there :)
I'll bet you mammagotjuice would have the team working more on skills and strategy and less time lifting which would be a badly needed step in the right direction.
SN...just wanted to wish you guys best of luck on your next game! Stellar coaching, discipline, hard work, and talent can take you a long way! Wishing you the best from Longhorn lane!
 13.
Final from Sour Lake, Hardin-Jefferson defeats Hamshire-Fannett, 70-52.
I wish I could have heard Dove's half time radio debut ! Thanks Stevie...you were SOOOO gracious! Good luck to all our local teams that are going to play-offs. This season was one rollercoaster ride for sure. Wish I had a crystal ball to see the fallout to next year:)
 14.
21-3A District Game
oh lord...one more game....
Why? IF HF cut down on errors, control the boards on both ends, hustle on defense, intelligent substitutions, push the ball up the floor  instead of walking into their press; they have a good chance of making a good statement tonight.
HF already had their statement game against Silsbee.  I think Silsbee comes back and makes a statement of their own tonight.  I'm gonna say Silsbee wins big, 80-44.  And yes, I'll gladly come and eat some crow if i'm badly wrong.
fairly close, anyway :)
Silsbee was awesome tonight..back in full force. HF really had nothing to combat. Even the bench was strong. Stellar coaching. We saw tonight why they are undefeated!
