3.
I TOLD YALL!!!! HJ you might as well forget about another State championship ring.
You said Yates was dropping down. Everyone that has any knowledge at all knew the other schools had 3A numbers and would eventually decide not to opt up like they have been doing for several years now. Still don't see Yates dropping, even if they have the numbers to do so(still say their numbers will be 4A numbers). Ego (Greg Wise) will get in the way of Yates going down to 3A.
 4. Silsbee leads all time series 7-2 and currently has a 5 game win streak over Hardin-Jefferson. Tigers have yet to lose to the Hawks in 21-3A district play.

What would be smart for uil is to make a 6a and somehow combine 3a and 4a. In my opinion, not a whole lot of difference. Talking about numbers, not talent. Basically, 4a would have a wider spectrum in enrollment so it would be like 3a anyway because you still keep 5a. Just adding another class for those schools that hqve more kids than most colleges. Lol.
How is there no difference in 3a and 4a.. If you have schools with 500 to 600 enrollment competing against schools in between 1200 and 1400.. thats a difference.. Coachs develop talent and players.. bigger school have more players to develop.. cant disagree more with your statement... classifications are their for a reason
The cutoff for 3a right now is 990, however 3a is still spread out with teams of around 450 playing schools twice thier enrollment.
Correct. But not three times their enrollment and that would happen with a 500 enrollment playing 1400 enrollments.

 9. The Houston district will stay in Region III. More than likely district 24-3A(Sealy, Columbus, Brookshire Royal, Bellville and Stafford)  will move to Region IV. Question is, what district will replace 22-4A in Region III.
 10. San Augustine    30 Groveton            13
 11. PNG      35 LCM      14
 12. Still picking WOS, 21-7
 13. Source inside the district stated all of district 22-4A will go down this realignment. Jones Furr Scarborough Wheatley Kashmere Worthing Washington All these schools will have 3A numbers and will not check the box to opt up. Wheatley and Worthing had 4A numbers last realignment, but expect to have 3A numbers this time. The other 5 schools have had 3A numbers for several years now but had opted up to stay 4A. Houston Sterling and Houston Yates could join if their numbers fall as some expect it too. I believe these two schools will remain 4A. LaMarque could now have a place to call home in Region III but it is still expected that they will move to a 3A district in Region IV.

I made ONE simple error and you're ready to limit me to one term  ;)
Dove, both you and AAW are considerably better qualified to be President than Obama.
Man, I sure would have felt better about your comment if you would have left the comparison with AAW out ;D
I agree. I may have to ban Nash for those remarks.

Unless you consider him running for Prez in the first place to be his "one" mistake. ;)
 19.
I heard there low, possibly 2A numbers.
No way! They were 586 last realignment. According to one's in the know, they are growing in population over there. I think that is wishful thinking. ;)
