If so, I have to disagree with that statement. I mean you are down to just the final 4 and I have been to what will be 41 straight state tourneys and most if not all the teams there have a very descent shot of winning it all id not a great shot. It's just 2 wins away for all of them.

'92, yes. I was confused with how the UIL had those years listed on that link. But, Silsbee did beat Lincoln in '85 in district as well. ;)

So, to be accurate, Lincoln could have a district win streak from '92-'99, not '85-'02. ;)

In '91 Silsbee was district champions, Lincoln was runner up. Silsbee won both games. You are correct in the fact that the two teams were not in the same district from 1992 to 2003.
