So it's very possible I will be watching as many as 24 new teams that I have not seen this year. I'll be making my 41st straight state tourney in March.

This year the basketball team is mostly football players as compared to what the Tiger teams have been in the past. Of the 12 varsity players, 9 played football. Three starters (Gaines, Elam and Holmes) with Reed, Brydson, Barnes, and Scott being 4 of the 5 off the bench rotation. Only Wilson, Dobbins(starters) and Jackson did not play football.

I too watched that Yates/Wheatley game this year. IMO, those teams are very evenly matched. Wheatley let that game get away from them in the end. HJ would hold it's own against Yates.

I agree, fouls 1, 2 and 6 are not flagrant, but the rest I would say they are. Foul #6 being that #34 committed it, could be considered one just because the player was involved in 3 of the other "hard" fouls.

Are these flagrant fouls or not? Watch video, there are 6 fouls in question. [Hidden Content]#! #34 is involved in 4 of them.

My goal this year was to actually see 100 or more different high school boys basketball teams this season. So far, I am over 85 (86 to be exact). With playoffs and state tourney still on the horizon, I think I'll reach my goal of 100!! Looking forward to January, February and March!!! note: If you count watching teams via the internet or TV, I have seen 92 so far.
