4. Lamar trails UTA 65-52 w/ 11:57 left. UTA just made its 10th 3. LU struggling against 1-3-1 zone. No inside game
Dude!  You are over-reacting. That is just some happy fans celebrating an incredible victory.  Its not like the cheerleaders from 2008 who went and taunted our hecklers...... ok, they probably deserved it.  That's just sheer joy coming out! Save the "thug" comments for the thugs. BTW, great shot at the buzzer.  He may not make it ever again, but when it counted, he made it.  That's all that counts.  Period.
Well said, FanintheStands.

 9.
Was just going through the game broadcast from last night. At the 3:51 mark of the 2nd quarter, HJ's Shawn Prudhomme got a break away 2 hand slam(only dunk of the game for either team) to up the Hawks lead to 25-14, largest of the game for HJ. From that point on till 3 seconds left in the 3rd quarter (game time total of 11:48) Silsbee out scored HJ 35-6, to give them their largest lead (and the largest lead for either team) at 49-31. This 35-6 run is a pretty good reason among others as to why Silsbee won the game. ;)
BTW, for those "dunk enthusiasts", that dunk for HJ didn't do them much good but it sent Silsbee on a 35-6 run. ;)

There was another reason that the Tigers won... and they won an incredible game!  With 19 seconds left and the game tied, HJ couldn't get off a good winning shot.  Silsbee could. Kudos to the Tigers for a great win!  Kudos to both teams by proving that they both have the drive that is going to take them deep into the play-offs!  I have a feeling that this series is not going to be settled until Hunstville.... even with all the other strong teams in the area.
That is a very good point. HJ did have their opportunity at the end to win, but the Tigers played very good defense in that last 19 seconds.

Their mental game was running on high octane.
"Some" will dispute this claim. ;) ;D

Not that I am saying I want HJ to lose. But here are my reasons why HJ will probably lose tonite: A. HJ has not had a close game all year. Are they really that good or as some suspect, a light schedule to rest those track weary legs. Will HJ go into panic mode when this game is close? B. Silsbee has been in the trenches all year long. Knows how to play in tight games. Has played in several big games already this year. Silsbee wins this one tonite. ;)
Lets see now:
Guru! Everyone bow to the Guru! ;) ;D I did predict Silsbee to win 63-60, didn't miss the score by much. ;)
 14. UTA shooting better than 60 percent, with seven 3-pointers. Lamar down 43-35 w/ 3 minutes left in half.

 16. 6 minutes left UTA    36 LU      29
 17. 11:24 left UTA    21 LU      16
 18. 13:30 left in 1st UTA        19 LU          14
 19. 15 minutes left UTA        17 LU            8
 20. UTA is 4-of-4 shooting, up 12-6 on Lamar with less than 17 left in half
 21. Another 3 makes it 8-0 UTA. Not a good start against a top Southland team. This is a bit of a statement game for Lamar.
 22. Big home game for the Cards. Tip off at 2pm
 23.
I disagree.  The win was not miraculous.  Silsbee earned their victory and deserved it.  Even if that last shot had not fallen, it simply would have sent the game into overtime and no one can make the assumption that the overtime would not have produced results similar to the first 32 minutes.  You probably wont be able to stop this subject from being beaten to death for a couple of reasons.  1.  There is so much interest in this game, it generates a lot of comments for several days before and several days after.  2.  I am not going to let BadSanta have the last word ;D
That sir, we can agree upon. ;) ;D
 24. Where are our Kelly folks at? Who won this game and what was the score?
 25. I stated that I believe Silsbee's schedule helped prepare the Tigers for these type games. That doesn't necessarily mean that Silsbee would win those games. My comments were not just directed at you.
