2. My thoughts are that I don't have a problem with 3 teams advancing. Four is a bit much. But the real problem is when you have some districts with just 4 or 5 teams and 3 or 4 of those get to advance to the playoffs. Even 21-5A where they have just 6 teams, 4 of those advance. To me, any scenario that allows a team to qualify for the playoffs with a losing district record (not so much overall record) is a farce!! There will actually be some teams qualifying for the playoffs with only 2-3 district wins out of the 8-12 games they play in district. That is wrong!! Gone are the days (my era) where only the district champion advanced. :'(
 3. Up top in sticky thread.
 4.
I know that Varsity teams/players get the spotlight since it is the highest level in the High School basketball world, but I am curious.  Who do you think are some of the top JV players coming up to help Varsity teams?
The best JV players I have seen this year are on Ozen and Silsbee's teams. But neither of those players can move up to varsity this season due to transfer rules. WOS has a real good JV. A couple of those could help the Mustangs in the playoffs. (if they make it over HF) Speaking of Hamshire-Fannett, I saw no player on that JV team that could help out the Longhorn varsity if they were to make the playoffs.

That's the truth. Not saying it didn't happen, but I wasn't aware of it.
Well it did!!!  And photo evidence is in abundance!!!
Ok, I take your word on it.

I just think it's totally unnecessary and uncalled for on this thread and by a site admin.
The thread is about SPORTSMANSHIP.......I have not said any kids names!!! (btw, I am not saying Shawn has a bad temper)
