I was speaking of individual players. The Hunter kid on Ozen's JV and the player on Silsbee's JV that was forced to play JV because of transfer rules (Hunter for Ozen in the same boat) were two players that I am quite certain would help there respective varsity teams in the playoffs. I said nothing about those JV "teams" being good.

Congrats to both teams on their co-district championship. This makes 5 consecutive years and 7 of the past 8 years that Silsbee has been co-champs or out right district champs. (out right champs in '05, '10, '11, co-champs '06, '08, '09, '12)

I think both coaches have great points. Obviously in 20-4A, they do not have the stipulation that if one team wants to play the game, the other has to go along or concede. Will be interesting to see how this one is handled.

Was not impressed with the '6"10 Knowles. Little ole Silsbee made him look bad. 7 points, 5 rebounds. Hearing Knowles will not be eligible anyway. House on the other hand is a great sign for Houston. Very skilled player.

I don't see these two teams playing the seed game.
