Was reading another messageboard about this game and it seems folks up there in East Texas had not seen the kind of speed that Silsbee brings. Some were predicting that Pleasant Grove would make the Region II finals. By looking at some of the comments, Silsbee exposed this PG team and East Texas. Some folks were commenting that even at #5 in the state, that Silsbee was underrated. Those guys need to come down here and get them some of Region III.

[/quote] Was told that Silsbee coasted the 4th quarter, called the dogs off and played the bench. Score was 53-32 at end of 3rd, but just out scored PG in the 4th 14-11. Didn't want to risk any starters in that 4th quarter with 20 point lead. Silsbee held PG's '6"8 post in check the whole game. Good warm up game for the Tigers. Now on to the playoffs and Splendora.
