1.
Nah, actually I heard Houston Yates, will not be moved to 3A, although it was discussed...I did hear that Wheatley and Kashmere were definitely dropping to 3A...may change the dynamics in region 3 basketball for sure.
Yates did not check the box to be kept in 4A. If their numbers are 3A numbers, they will be 3A. I still think they will have 4A numbers though.
 2. HISD will have it's own 3A district. Kashmere, Washington, Worthing, Jones, Furr, and Scarborough have been playing 4A with 3A numbers for the past 8 years, but HISD has always opted up for those schools. They will not opt up this realignment. Also, it is predicted that Wheatley, Sterling and Yates enrollment numbers could drop down below the 4A cutoff, therefore making them 3A. They will not be opting up for this next realignment. In fact, the only HISD school to opt up for this next realignment is Madison. HISD will have a 3A district of it's own, just not sure how many schools yet. (6 to as many as 9)

 5. Made an adjustment on the list. Had a Coldspring player confused. Had wrong name on list with uniform #. Sykes is on list now.

Whether he will move players up or down based on people's opinions, I have no idea?
Just asking, what would make the list official?
An official list usually comes from the opinions of multiple people. In your disclaimer, you stated that "this is by no means THE LIST". You went on further to say that this is "just one's man opinion". Sorry if I read it wrong, but it doesn't seem like an official list based on your disclaimer. I realize a few people asked you to compile a list, and I appreciate your time and efforts in doing so.
Wasn't claiming that this list should be official. Was just asking what it would take for it to be official. What exactly would be an "official" list?

 18. Folks, this is by no means THE LIST, but I have seen every team that we cover in our area and this is just my opinion on who the top players are. I encourage everyone to post any players that I may have left off that you feel need to be on the list. Also, debate as to who is too high, too low, or not even be on the list. Like I said, just one man's opinion, the list can be tweaked. Remember, just players from our coverage area and they have to be varsity players, no JV or 9th. 1. Shawn Prudhomme  sr. 21. The comparison of Ozen and Memorial is not an accurate one, apples and oranges. Memorial is a consolidation of 3 schools, Ozen was just a new (old) school that officials decided to open and give Beaumont 3 schools instead of two. It was easy for Ozen to come back as the new Hebert and take on it's colors and mascot because they were not having to worry about any other school traditions. PAISD had to take all that into consideration when they consolidated into just one school. The better comparison is West Brook and Memorial or Central and Memorial. I think PAISD did right by naming the school and taking on it's own identity, just like what West Brook and Central did.
