1.
Is this something that happens often in coaching? Joubert from what I hear is a real nice guy. Maybe just got caught up in the moment. Stuff happens man.
When I arrived at the HJ tourney that day to hear that Joubert got tossed, I was shocked. I spoke with other coaches that day at another tourney and they were just as surprised. From what I was told, the ejection was very bogus. Some very sensitive officiating in that situation.
 2.

What is the status of the potential QBs?  Johnson missed last four or five games with a rib injury?  Prewitt a concussion to end the season and questions about how many concussions he may have previously had?  Berry injured ankle in last game?  Tatum, has he made through a complete season yet?
Gonzo is walking on too...(LCM)
To play safety. That according to coaches and Gonzo.
 3. TAPPS institutes mercy rules for football, basketball (will affect Kelly and Legacy) , starting with 2012 football season
 4. There is a minor mistake in the article. The game was against Dayton but was not in Dayton. The game was in the HJ tourney.
 5.
For the women I think it use to be called the Kodak All American game and Laquan Stallworth and Brandi McCain played in it.
Nope, there is a McDonalds game too. Just posted on the girls forum that Ozen's Asia Booker was nominated.
 6. I got West Hardin by 11. ;)
 7. Silsbee's Darrell "Boogaloo" McArthur in '86.
 8.
What fake autographs? You know Badsanta is a big time auto collector. Who you need SteveNash. All my stuff is either Upper Deck, PSA/DNA, or JSA authenticated.
Santa, this doesn't involve you. This is between LAZEEK and Dick Vitale.
 9. Lamar added quarterback. Ryan Mossakowski, a former Kentucky QB who played at NW Miss. Community College. Mossakowski is 6-foot-4, 230 pounds. He suffered a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder in 2008, according to [Hidden Content] New Lamar QB Ryan Mossakowski competed 60 percent of his passes for 2,422 yards with 26 TDs and 14 INTs for NW Miss. CC. Mossakowski also had interest from Jackson State, according to Clarion-Ledger. [Hidden Content] This info courtesy of Chris Dabe of the Beaumont Enterprise
 10.
He will be the best QB on campus!
What football offers did he get and eventually turn down to "walk on" at Oregon for this "best QB" on Lamar's campus?
 11.
Based on body of work, I think only Sulaimon (Strake Jesuit) will make that final 24 from the Houston area.  Plus he is a Duke signee, which almost GUARANTEES the nod! POSSIBLY Cameron Riddley (FB Bush) as well. POSSIBLY. He is a 6'11" kid with tremendous upside, and has had a decent season to date.
I really like that PG Rose for Westbury Ch. Also saw Cleare from the Village play, he is a monster!! House is a good player but I agree, not a final 24 player.
 12.
AAW we should make him provide an AUTHENTIC set of autographs to replace the bogus ones he gave my son three years ago.
That is between you and him. I will be waiting on his $$$ donation to the site.
 13. From the Greater Houston area: Area McDonald’s All-American Nominees As always, the Houston area is not lacking in nominees for the McDonald’s All-American games coming up in April.
You heard wrong.
Not surprised at that.  What were the correct numbers in those two departments?
Yeah, nobody EVER shoots 34% from the charity stripe and 16% from 3 point range...... Oh wait...... nevermind.
I watched a team shoot 6% (1/17) from 3 point line last night. ;)
 16.
Wondering if the SETX Sports bloggers would have room for and "old friend" to return as a new and improved message board member with many good things to bring to the hoops board? Sooo, will you guys have me back? Much nicer, Dickie V? Humbled, without the ego? Mr. Sanchez, I would like to publically apologize for stirring the pot for all those years.  Would like to make amends, and contribute to this site, and if its ok, I would like to contribute finacially as well.  This site is great for the SE Texas community, and I would like to make a real contribution this time around.  Looking forward to talking hoops again. Dick Vitale
Apology accepted with a couple of stipulations. One, I expect a monetary donation to the site from you within the next two weeks. Two, you sir have earned the position of ZERO TOLERANCE. One crack and you will fall through it. You have one single shot here Walter, so if you are here just to "get back" at the site and it's members, you better make it a good one. If you want to stay here and contribute, then you better sip on that last shot very slowly. Many eyes will be watching, trust me. Now, talk some hoops shall we.
 17.
When does Ozen play Central in district?
[Hidden Content]
 18. 3 years of coaching experience. Hmmmm.... doesn't even prefer "head" coaching experience, just coaching. ::)
 19. I spoke with Coach English about that Royal team. He stated they were big and used their size very well. But he also followed up with the statement that he thought HJ and Silsbee would beat them if they met in the playoffs. HJ and Silsbee would cause Royal problems with their pressure and speed.
 20. FT      11/16    69% 3p        4/15    27%

 22. WOW!!! Looks like Royal may win that district.
 23. Navasota with a nice win over CATMAN's district favorite Smithville. What happened CATMAN? ;D
 24. Silsbee senior Jacob Murray signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Blinn College. Congrats Jacob and good luck on your senior season!!
