[/quote] Kountze has never had a tourney and has always used the Silsbee tourney as their "end of the season". Silsbee's non participation in the league was a funding issue. As for the conflict of the two tourneys, I have been told some things and I will choose not to discuss them here.

I read the title. Don't you think that making that title with the letters "SETX" would consider that to include the teams we cover on this site since the name of our website is SETXsports.com? Like I stated earlier, had you posted Golden Triangle or Beaumont/PA area, then I could understand. Coldspring is not a part of that area but they are considered an "SETX" team as far as this site goes. I asked you earlier, please inform me as to what schools you consider "SETX" schools.

Well, by the title of this thread that you started, "what school in SETX has more playoff wins than PA Memorial the past two years?", then you state that Coldspring "ain't setx" after someone posted that Coldspring had more playoff wins than PAM and even after Grad clarified Coldspring's status with this site, then one would think that you do not consider nor do you think SETXsports should consider Coldspring as one of the site's teams to cover in southeast Texas.

[/quote] Only way Jasper would face Silsbee in the DI playoffs is in the regional finals. I don't expect for both teams to make it that far, maybe one of them could.

Like I said, this is news to me. I would expect those teams that you have listed will not be playing in Silsbee. Too much of a conflict. Of those teams listed, 9 of them have been playing in the Silsbee tourney the last several years. Only ones that have never played were East Chambers and Lufkin Hudson.

Current West Hardin and former Anderson-Shiro head basketball coach Kully Hoffpauir is expected to be named head boys basketball coach at Spurger at the Spurger ISD board meeting Thursday night. This will obviously close one local head coaching job but open up another.

Also SLC TV has two wild card selections in Nov. 10th & 17th. Lamar could very well land in one or both of those spots pending how the season is going.
