Pool play! I say again, pool play!!! Just cannot have a bracket play tourney with just 8 teams. Nobody wants to play in that format. Coaches want games. Minimum 4-5 games. Has nothing to do with officials. Only getting three games is just not worth it.

Silsbee had 384(302 rush, 82 pass) yards of offense, Navasota 270 (91 rush, 179 pass). Calvin Tyler had 203 yards rushing, 3 TD's. Michael McCain was Hamburger Depot Player of Game. 11 tackles, 3 for loss, 1 sack, 1 pass deflection.

I found out last night that Silsbee's Jordan Adams is in a walking boot. Torn ligament in foot. Be out for a few weeks.

It's official, West Brook did drop Silsbee. Silsbee has not found a replacement game and does not expect to at this late date.

Plus we knocked them out of the basketball and baseball playoffs last year.

I do know this and this is fact. Several years ago when Dr. Thomas was still sup, he made it known to the coaches that West Brook, Central and Ozen were no longer to schedule Silsbee, HJ or Kountze unless they could guarantee wins over those teams. Said we had no business losing to those teams. Heard that for myself. Mamba is right, scheduling is a two way street. I have heard both sides in regards to Ozen/Silsbee. Probably best they don't play.

Neither is the AP, DCTF, Old Coach, Padillo, etc....... But you still had an opinion where a team should be ranked, so it obviously mattered to you.

If 2 times equals several, then yes. Only times these two teams have met.

You cannot have a rivalry when this is the first game in the series.

You can play in both because these are not tournaments. Just 1 day or 2 day one gamers. Silsbee plays Houston Christian in the Hoopsgiving. Their game against Westbury Christian in Jamboree is at St. Thomas Catholic HS, not Episcopal.

Ozen is not in any tournament that Silsbee is in.
