  1. Ozen goes to the foul line. Game tied 12-12 with 2:29
  2. Bush with three threeees in a row. Tigers lead 11-6 with 4:47 in 1st
  3. Was just explained why the gap between the girls and boys games. Girls wanted to keep 5pm start time and Ozen committed to 7:30pm start time for boys. So there ya go
  4. Tip off is 6:30, 6:45, 7:00, 7:15 and 7:30. Take your pick
  5. Just got confirmation on start time for Varsity. 7:30
  6. Really do not know. Just sent a tweet asking.
  7. I think the time in between is really for the locker room situation.
  8. It's my understanding that the reason for the time in between the girls varsity and boys varsity games is to allow the Buna crowd to leave and the Ozen crowd to enter. Also, there is just one visitor locker room. Buna girls will have to empty before Ozen boys can enter.
  9. Silsbee isn't local? Silsbee made it to the 3rd round.
  10. '6"7 kid from local school district. Was told the other moved in from Colorado.
  11. Could the Zona game for A&M be considered a "trap" game?
  12. There are two basketball players that have transferred in that have to play JV. One transferred in from out of state, one from a local school district. Not sure which one of these transfers is being appealed.
  13. It's a basketball player

  17. Navasota rarely played their starters a full game.
  18. I agree. Basing your analysis of a team or teams just off of scores can be misleading. Scores do not always tell the whole story, just who won or lost. Seen many a game where a team ended up winning by 8-10 points but led by as much as 20-25 through out the game but reserves gave up the big lead late. Also seen games where a team wins by 20-25 but the game was within 5 points with 3 minutes left, battle all the way. Again, scores don't always tell the whole story when comparing teams. It's why I try to go watch as many teams as possible. I have seen 100 or more different teams every year the past 7 years. Someone predicting Kountze to win district is just fine. History says it will happen way more times than not. Looking at a few scores could lead one to predict that as well. But I have seen the top three play (Buna, EC, Kountze) this year. IMO, East Chambers is the best team and will win district. BTW, I agree with TxHoops. Nobody else in that 23-3A district beats WO-S by 30.
  19. 2012 state champions. 2014 was great too.
  20. That Navasota offense that year they won title was one of the best I have ever seen. I would rate them better than this Carthage offense.
  21. According to this schedule, 9th and JV is playing tonight. Varsity tomorrow night at 6:30pm [Hidden Content] Now I see why. Silsbee girls varsity has a home game tomorrow night against Buna at 5pm.
  22. Not sure. Was told a few weeks ago it would be varsity only. 9th and JV tonight. Don't know if that is still the case or not.
  23. So you agree with having 39 1st team players for 29 spots?
  24. Got what right? If you include the superlatives, there are 39 first team all district players, 35 2nd team players. 74 total players for 53 total positions (22 offense, 22 defense, 2 kickers, 2 punters, 5 superlatives: MVP, Off. MVP, DEF MVP, Special Teams MVP, Newcomer) Not sure what's right about having that many.
