  2. Porter, Samaha, Wirth, Ogle, White and Moore. I assumed Porter, Samaha and Wirth are starters.
  3. Make that 8 Bi-District playoff games forfeited due to COVID. Gatesville has forfeited to Carthage.
  4. . @uiltexas says if a football team wins a playoff game and can't play next round because of COVID, its next opponent gets a bye instead of having losing team advance. That goes through state semifinals. TBD on what happens if state finalist can't play.
  5. And for those wondering about playoff games prior to state title game, any team that has to shut down due to COVID will have to forfeit their game. There will be no rescheduling. There has already been 7 Bi-District playoff games that resulted in forfeits due to COVID.
  6. If one or both teams can't play in a football state title game due to COVID, teams will be allowed to reschedule games at a site determined by both teams. These games must be completed by Jan. 16 (1A thru 4A) and Feb. 13 (5A & 6A).
  7. Make that 9 needing. Received West Sabine's
  8. To my knowledge HJ has three starters playing football with 3 other reserve players for a total of 6 varsity basketball players missing.
  9. Down to needing these 10: Hemphill Burkeville Chester Beaumont Harmony Science Port Arthur Tekoa
  10. In order to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the UIL had relaxed policies during the regular season to allow livestream broadcasts of high school football games. However, the UIL recently published a notice that live stream broadcasts will be NOT be allowed during the 2020 UIL Football Playoffs. According to the notice, UIL’s agreement with its broadcast partners (NFHS and Texan Live) strictly prohibits the use of live streaming sites including Facebook Live, Instagram Live, Twitter Live and YouTube Live to stream football playoff games. This will also be the case for 6A and 5A playoffs. NFHS and Texan Live have had exclusive rights to video broadcasts of UIL football playoffs for several years now. So schools and other entities cannot video broadcast like they were allowed in the regular season.

  13. I guess the schools and towns that these young men play for need to provide a percentage of their profits off the games as well, correct?
  14. That is Warren schedule above.
  15. They purchased the rights for it from the UIL.

  17. Still needing these following schedules: Hemphill Burkeville Chester Beaumont Harmony Science Port Arthur Tekoa
  18. Watched some film on LaMarque. They will have trouble scoring on Silsbee. #73 for Silsbee will cause them lot's of problems. LaMarque does have some speed on defense that could hurt Silsbee but as long as the Tigers play well and limit turnovers, Tigers should cruise thru this round.
  19. Texan Live has all playoff rights to video broadcasts. Schools or other entities that were doing video broadcasts during the regular season will not be allowed to do playoff games without the consent of Texan Live. I know some schools and entities do not know this and will try to broadcast. Good luck with that.
  20. I don't know you so therefore I don't trust you. I don't bet with folks I don't trust. I personally know atmfan06. I know I can trust him.
