From everyone that I have spoken with (coaches, admins, UIL officials, other media) all have said Thursday, Feb. 1 at 9am.

From UIL website: The 2018-20 alignments will be released Feb. 1 for football and basketball. District alignments for other activities will be released in the order of their seasons. More information about UIL alignments can be found at [Hidden Content].

Crosby win was 3 weeks ago. 12 point home loss to Channelview within that two week period doesn't help. I gave them consideration.

Center is Region II and not one of our site coverage teams.

Coach did state that he may not have that many on varsity. Said it could end up being 6. I know the starter is Morris, which is a no surprise.

I think it will be Athens or Waco Connally and Silsbee in the bottom half regional semifinal. Yates will occupy one spot in upper half regional semifinal. The other spot IMO will be either Navasota, Mexia, Madisonville or Liberty Hill.

I plan on being there Tuesday night.

I thought EC was the better team coming into the game and predicted they would win by 10-12. Wasn't expecting the Bucs to get a lead of 31 and coast to a 17 point win. Great atmosphere last night.
