Vidor by at least 3 TDs. I think we play better in Da Butch than we do in our own stadium. This will lead us to a match up of two undefeated black and gold teams at the Boneyard who don't particularly care for each other (rivalry)!

I didn't understand it either. Thought y'all should have passed more. Our run defense is pretty stout this year but, as always, we're succeptable to the long ball. Your QB has a good arm and the Jags will come around. This Harvey stuff has been hard on all of our kids.

To answer everyone's questions, I was in Canada when the hurricane hit. Flight got cancelled and had to drive back from 230 miles north of Toronto.  Like everyone, I came home to flooding and a refinery which had been shut down badly. Lots of hours to go around. I'm back now but don't intend on putting as much on the board this year. Too much going on at home.

1. I thought we just played solid football...way better than what I thought we would given the disarray the team was in two weeks ago after Harvey. 
2. Jeff Mathews again showed his coaching prowess by getting a team who hadn't played a game yet ready to go. We looked pretty sharp tonight.
3. Stogner was a big standout tonight. Fawcett was good at QB and the beast mode Ciccio Bros. really stood out on defense

Carthage wore Wylie down and won the game in the fourth. Wylie had four turnovers which eventually led to their undoing. Congratulations to the Carthage Bulldogs; you guys are a treat to watch play football. Keep going for it on fourth down....I love Surratt! BTW, I had to leave the games after this one; my nine year olds wore out and wore me out.

Wylie has a 6A team on the field. Holy cow!

I can't believe I'm sitting here waiting for Carthage to play another state championship. Surratt is the MAN!
