I have seen many a College Station game over the past few years. Their style of play is not conducive to "blow" teams out.

I would north what our parents and  grandparents thought about the government telling them how much sugar, gas, rubber, nylons, etc. they could buy back in WWII? Or was there maybe a shared sense on community in beating a common enemy? Stop stirring paranoia and start considering the task we must undertake as a nation to beat an invisible and totally indiscriminate enemy. You’re doing patriotism a disservice.

Let’s make it simple folks.  If you don’t want to wear a mask, don’t go to the freaking game..  Don’t let your attitude ruin it for everyone else.  It ain’t rocket science.  😡😡😡

Both sides are getting worse every election and usually these long posts are riddled with untruths.  Just read the first part of this post and there are errors.  There were Democrats at the inauguration so this is false, though there were quite a few missing.  Skipping inaugurations is nothing new in politics as there were republicans that skipped inaugurations of Clinton and Obama.  Inauguration skipping goes back to at least Woodrow Wilson when some skipped in support of Women's right to vote.  

I'm not a fan of either candidate, but we will have to decide in November.  Hopefully we can get some real information to base our decisions on instead of false stuff floating on the internet.

I don’t know if I’ve said this already on this site, but if it will keep all of our kids (all of SETX athletes) safe, just shut all the HS sports down this year and take no chances.  It sucks for us, but at this point, I’m prepared to be without HS sports and auxiliary for a year. 

Hands down, not a school gym, but the Nome Dome is my absolute favorite gym!

yes, I was being facetious.  Braelon is one of the best scorers I've seen at the high school level and I only popped off about the height as others would mention it over the course of his career on here.  He was always worth the ticket to get in.

 

3 of the 5 2014 starters played a lot with their back to the basket.  And Q was capable of doing it as well.  He played above the rim even shooting jumpers so he’s a tough matchup for the 2014s.  He’s also the best on ball defender which you need playing Bush.   Problem is rim protection when you have a size mismatch.  You have Clover who can block shots and the next best one you have is definitely Hefner.   2020 gets murdered in the paint.  I don’t see it anywhere close to a 5/5 tie.

Also congrats to 2A POY Jay Buckley from Shelbyville.  Another kid in our coverage area who has had a “decent” career.

You’re right.  State champion, collegiate all American, lottery pick.  There’s only a couple (Steve Jackson and Perk) that belong on a very short list with him.  

He sure gave us fits with his size and skill.  I think many teams in the area are glad he will be moving on.  Good luck to this young man at his next stop.

We played sloppy and Nederland played well.  They worked the ball around nicely and gained momentum late in 1st and rode it a while.  We open up with Texas City which we beat early in the season.  If we come back together as a team and hit the 3s, we have a chance.  Nederland has improved over the later half of the season and may get some playoff wins this year.
