I was @ work once, processing driver licenses etc.  This tall skinny kid, maybe 6'2" or so was my next customer.  He was changing his address from Bridge City to somewhere in Houston.  I asked him if he played basketball for Bridge City. He said no.  I was able to get  out of him that he was going to school at UH or Rice majoring in architecture.  I stopped asking questions after that.  Playing B ball is not the cake. If a student works it just right it is at best just the icing on the cake.

Bridge City was simply overwhelmed.  You saw the final score.  It wasn't that close.

I think most people will agree that a 2-3 LCM team shouldn't be able to play Silsbee that close for most of the game. Silsbee took over late but most of the game was Silsbee up 6 or 7pts 

Kountze is good, Buna with 0 free throws in the game

As long as Silsbee doesn't pull a Dallas Cowboys on us, they've got a decent chance. Full roster should be ready to go soon.
I suppose beating up on all these cream puffs in district might be a little concerning, but that's not in our control. Maybe somebody will put up a fight.

Absolutely.  I think Silsbee is better and BTW is not.  Their best player is back though and he’s a handful.  I like Silsbee against them though as long as they play relatively well. 

Much like last season, Silsbee JV is really good again. Not sure the Mustangs that showed up for this one could beat them. I would expect round 2 to be a closer ballgame, I think. Stangs will probably give it a better effort. They really don't have any size though and are worse at getting rebounds than the Tigers are.
Biggest difference I'm noticing with Silsbee as of late is much better ball movement and shooting. Hope they keep it up.

The last game for both of these two teams was against Jasper. WOS won 100-39 and Silsbee won 108-52. First place in district is on the line in this matchup. Will Silsbee keep their district dominance? Will WOS be able to keep up with Silsbee’s constant pressure? Will Silsbee be 100% back? Will the weather affect this game? Will there be standing room only? Will the concession stand run out of nachos? These questions and more will be answered Friday night in the Tiger Den.

Probably won't last more than a game or two.

Looks like he could be a force with a supporting cast.  A big man with a nice shooting touch.  Of course we don't know how seriously the Tigers were taking him.

Win or lose, these are invaluable games for the Tigers.  Especially since their district appears even weaker than usual this year.  I think the result, given the hand they were played, is probably as good as can be expected.  Silsbee would be my favorite out of region 3 to get to SA.
