Silsbee.  They looked like a REAL team for  3 and 7/8 quarters.  Silsbee dominated.  I think if they keep playing like this they will win district and make a good run in the playoffs. 

After calming down from the game and having time to evaluate the teams, this is my opinion
Silsbee and WOS will battle for the district championship with OF, HF, HJ, and Liberty battling for the other 2 spots
Silsbee and WOS have a lot of very good athletes. They will be fine
Nederland showed a lot of character in coming back. That will help them in district
They lack speed and must learn to quit arm tackling on defense. The offense could be good. It appears that the QB’s problem is that he throws many passes too late. He must improve on his timing
Hopefully they will continue to improve and make the playoffs
The district looks very good this year. It is going to be tough to make the top 4

Quit calling it a false start… it was an illegal shift, which can be declined

I like all the LCM hype but the video I seen of LCM vs HF I wasn’t really that impressed. WOS by atleast 3 scores. I hope I’m wrong but I call it as I see it.

They do not reschedule or continue play for non-district games.   If this had been a district game, then possibly.  And no, nothing was given to anyone.

They didn’t give anything to Nederland. The rules were followed with a game that was called due to weather. Nederland won. It happens.

The game was called right after halftime.  It was 27-13 WB at that point.

If true they can take a few more non-athletes so we can drop to D2. 😎

What I saw and heard were typical week 1 mistakes. Coach T's absence surely didn't help and the Dogs had more than a little bit to do with it. They are gonna beat some folk this season.  WOS execution was lacking but they do have some specimens and will be a handful as the season goes on.

Notice most don't want to admit Ned had a lot to do with how we looked.Except for bonehead delay of game and false starts Ned pretty much handled us.

PN-G played a mediocre 4a squad and looked to struggle.  But with that said, I think this will be a close game for a little bit.  But I have BU winning by 2 scores.

As normal, early in the season and without seeing the Dogs in person… Im a skeptic…. But pleasantly surprised with how we looked at the point of attack on Both sides of the ball…. We will be OK
