I think Silsbee will have long term success the rest of the season with a better run game. I don't attend any games since I live here in Houston, but looking at the rush stats they need to improve here. Seems the Rhone kid is fast, why not put him in space and let him work. I would agree that Silsbee wins this game. Its key they get their play makers involved early. I would even open the game with a long pass to Lane to set open up the run and this pass again later in the game.

I vote Deberry and Reyes! That kid from Hardin is tuff as well.

Tigers have to hold on to the ball and play sound run defense. This is the reason why they have 2 loses. If they can stop their mistakes they can win district again.

Lumberton fans don't get excited. It seems Silsbee isn't good at all. They must have played 9th grade teams in Waltrip and Cleveland.

Even though I haven't lived there in a while, Silsbee seems to always under achieve in football. Always a ton of talent but can't make it all work at once!

Oh well! Silsbee hasn't had a good defense is forever.

I don't live in southeast,tx anymore but does any team out there still run that wishbone offense. Vidor and BC use to run it back in the 90's while I was in school. Smash mouth football! Only the Best!

Silsbee won't lose this game! Lumberton will be over confident and think since Silsbee is now 3A, they can walk all over them. Tiger D will come to play and stack up the run. Final Silsbee 26-Lumberton 21. Too bad I will be in Austin getting for another Longhorn win!

WOW! Lumberton smack talk????? Please! Silsbee wins this game close 26-21. Lumberton has a good run game but  Silsbee's air attack and zone read will prove to be too much. I remember when we use to play Lumberton back in early 80's 90's and the score was like 55-14 Silsbee. How times have changed.
