  1. Oh well 2-1 here you come! The other 2 teams Silsbee played must have been terrible or Lumberton is just that good.
  2. I don't live in southeast,tx anymore but does any team out there still run that wishbone offense. Vidor and BC use to run it back in the 90's while I was in school. Smash mouth football! Only the Best!
  3. Silsbee won't lose this game! Lumberton will be over confident and think since Silsbee is now 3A, they can walk all over them. Tiger D will come to play and stack up the run. Final Silsbee 26-Lumberton 21. Too bad I will be in Austin getting for another Longhorn win!
  4. WOW! Lumberton smack talk????? Please! Silsbee wins this game close 26-21. Lumberton has a good run game but  Silsbee's air attack and zone read will prove to be too much. I remember when we use to play Lumberton back in early 80's 90's and the score was like 55-14 Silsbee. How times have changed.
  5. Great Job to all of you guys who run this site. I listen you your ball game from my hotel in Miami. I'm a 98 grad of Silsbee and you guys keep me up to speed what the hometown Tigers are doing. Keep the FANTASTIC work guys!
  6. Tigers seem to have a ok team but a lot of dropped balls tonight. Could be up 21. Hope they hang on in the second half. Shouts out to the class of 1998!
  7. 14-7 Silsbee almost the end of the first half. Who is Silsbee's star players since Johnson is gone?
  8. What is up with Central? Are they really this bad? might as well start basketball season next week!
  9. Best all around back was Shanderrick Charles but Jamaal was even better! Anyone remember Anthony Malbourgh and Ezra Brown? Where are those guys now?
  10. Tiger will either finish 1st or the top 3. He will really pick up fire tomorrow and close even stronger on Sunday. He is the best!
  11. Yes, I would go back to at least 1970 or any notable names before IE Bubba Smith etc........
  12. Has anyone put a offense, defense, and special teams together for SETX? I would like to see a alltime team. AggiesAREWE can I get some help.
  13. Tramayne Arline was a real good player. Very quick with a good outside shot. and a 34" + vertical He started for Silsbee from 96-98. They JV team he played on could beat the varsity team of Donyell Allen, Bush, and Jones. They had a nice lineup of Tramayne Arline, Thadyus Holden, Frank Chaney, Kerrion Cartwright, and Jeremy Williams. Lewis Arline played football as a freshman and played on the Frehsman basketball team that year. I remember once when the JV beat Varsity by 20 in practice and coach Sigler was Livid!!!! Great times in the old Tiger gym.
  14. The best basketballl rivalry doenst live anymore. Silsbee vs Lincoln was the absolute best. Each and every single game was a sell out. I went to these match ups for 15 straight years. I remember when they both were in 23-4A and played each other twice a year. Linclon was always ranked #1 or so in the state and Silsbee #9 or not ranked at all. The bee hive was a absolute nightmare of a place to play. The fans were "crazy"! The would talk about Joe Siglers suites so bad, you would have to laugh. The last one I went too was in 1997 when Silsbee beat Lincoln by 26 points in the Tigers Den. I saw Kevin Mckyer, BJ Tyler, Steve Jackson, McElroy, Keith Harris, Spencer Comeaux, etc... Overall, I would be fair to say that both teams were evenly matched from a talent stand point. Silsbee ALWAYS had a ton of talent. Andre Bouttee was the diference maker to some degree. He really knew how to maximize his guys talents. I wish that PA Lincoln still existed. Great for Golden Triangle basketball in the 70's-90's.
  15. James Brown was smooth at Westbrook and Chip came right along and broke his records
  16. I see a ton of college footage, but McElroy, McGuire, Charles, were the best I saw.
  17. Tramaine Thomas? E.C? Anybody remember Brian Doss?
  18. 1999 Silsbee Tigers lost 24-13 to La Marque at The AstroDome to go to state. Team went 6-4 in the regular season and turned the heat UP in the playoffs. Made it to the 4th round!
  19. My list would be 1. Chip Ambres (West Brook) 2. Dustin Long (PNG) 3. Jeremy Johnson (Silsbee)  4. James Brown (West Brook) 5. Central QB in 1992 (cant remember his name) 6. Bobby Mcgallion (Silsbee) 7. Bryan Spell (Nederland) 8.
  20. I liked to watch Troy Summeral at Nederland, Spearman in Silsbee, and Terrance Curringtion in Jasper as well.
