I didn’t realize we were missing 5 starters against Livingston. In Matthews interview he said he hopes to have them all back for Huffman.
Not Gall. Root supposed to be back. Not sure about the others. I expect a tough game.

1. I really dont think vidor scores that much for struggling against livingston.
2. I really dont think huffman is THAT bad.
Does this come off the heels because huffman won last year?
Huffman is the only team in district Vidor has not beaten. Don’t think the Pirates will score 40 but would be happy to see it.

I Agree. We definitely need to run down the clock down to at least 5 seconds when we have a two score lead to shorten the game.
Did the same thing vs LCM. Leaving time on the clock when they sprint to the LOS

It should be a touch contest on the road hopefully keep penalties to a minimum
HH is the only district team the Pirates have not beaten, so even though they are down this year Vidor better be ready to play.

This is the hi-lite game of the week. Ltown wins, put the crown on their heads. LCM wins, potential 3-way tie for DC.
Potentially like last year.

I knew Vidor could pull this one out. Congratulations boys.
After seeing both teams back to back, what do you think about Vidor vs HH next week?

You need to tell those boys to drink milk and lay off the beer
Lol. I’m thinking it may have more to do with them playing both ways and being relatively small compared to other teams in district.

I noticed the time clock was out tonight. I guess the ref was keeping track of the time clock.
Had to be. Missed having the play clocks working tonight.

Man yall get the injury bug it seems every year
Sure seems that way and right when you need all hands on deck….district and beyond.

Yeah , we seem to be losing a lot players. Underclassman stepping.
Yep, they did well tonight

Hurry up and wait.
Seems like the smart thing to do when trying to burn clock with a 2 score lead would be to walk up to the line.

letting that clock roll inside a minute
timeout Vidor
40.9 to go
punt
Letting clock run, but still running up to the line of scrimmage after breaking huddle. SMH.

The Pirates get a big win and played well tonight aside from all the penalties.
I noticed the Vidor QB was wearing number 4 tonight for his friend that got injured in the Lumberton game.
Yeah Ricky Gall’s number. Noticed that too. Gall one of 5 injured starters missing the game tonight.

Unless of course Vidor and LCM are successful in the playoffs and they meet in 3rd or 4th round. A game all of orange county would be at.
Enough of this talk though let's get back to Livingston.
Since LCM has played both Vidor and Liv, would like to get Bear fans take on the matchup.

There lacking something man.
Bears just seemed flat tonight not as fired up as I thought they might be, and even though they never had the lead, there was not much of a sense of urgency. Morris probably should have had about a third more carries and outcome had a good chance of being different.

Your right about #7 and #95
Morris was the Bear offense tonight, scored all 4 TDs and is scary fast.

That’s the puzzler. Has there been a major change in assistant Coaches? Something just isn’t gee-haw here.
Word is lack of leadership, fear of “messing up” and making same mistakes over and over either because of not knowing what to do or “freelancing” on their own. On the field, turnover after turnover.

A chance to look at y’all? Lol Vidor runs a total of 11 plays. 5 runs to right. 5 to the left and 1 pass play…
I would think that many teams will ever see a Slot T opponent. No need to give them a preview of the offense. And then there are the defensive alignments on display as well.

I thing it will be close also but I think HH has scored more points than that in most of their games
