I agree Pats2.............it appears he is one hit away from possibly being hurt severely

Big Panther is correct..........right now on the 40 acres it doesn't matter if he is a 1 star or 5...........time to step up and drive the ship.
I feel bad for Ash......good kid and an above average QB but as a dad, I cannot imagine his folks letting him play another snap.

LaPorte has a solid ball club. Brook is scrappy but they are small and as a team, slow. That is a deadly combo in 6A football.

Clear Brook, Santa Fe and South Houston at Clear Brook High School at 6pm on the 22nd

I went to the Meet the Coaches at Clear Brook High School last night. Their new offensive coordinator is Coach Kettler. His dad is Elwood Kettler, the quarterback on the Junction Boys team at Texas aTm under Coach Bryant. You all know I am no Aggie but it was good to hear his son talk about him. I look forward to meeting Mr. Kettler at a game this year and getting a book signed by him.

So by Big Gurl's analysis.........
Officer: "Hey son, what did you steal?"
Bad Guy: "Oh, I ain't sure, about $50 worth of cigars."
Officer: "Oh, Ok, my bad........if that is all, you are good to go. Sorry for bothering you"

Why does him being unarmed become the "phrase" ? Can't someone be unarmed and be the aggressor and quite possibly need to be shot? Why haven't there been calls from the honorable Jesse Jackson and less than honorable Al Sharpton for the rioters, most of which I doubt even live near the areas they are looting and destroying, to stand down and let the investigation to be done?

I lived there for 12 years........never saw a thing. Great place for hayrides on Halloween

One statement PamFam.........made money on the outside. I take that as they received gov't benefits but took a cash job so nothing is reported.
-
Whether it was reported or I watched to see if it was or wasn't on the nightly news............below 40% rating for the messiah and emperor is a horrible number

Nash......that is a question I raised months ago........when I was in school and a young adult, there was a stigma attached to being unemployed that no one wanted to be labeled with. That has changed.....not saying it has changed for everyone but for many, they just don't care. And, in our politically correct world, we do not say anything to them because it might hurt their feelings or give them low self esteem.
I was laid off once with a 3 month old baby........I drove a beer van delivering kegs for $60/day. I worked 5 times as hard for a quarter of the money but I would not take a handout. I still believe there is work to be had if any able bodied person wants to work. It may not be that managerial position you desire but you can work.

I think affirmative action was needed in a given time period. These days I compare it (Affirmative action) to unions......unions were very much needed in my grandfathers day working.........not so much anymore. Instead of making sure everyone had good working conditions and getting a good salary like they used to, they now keep people employed that should have been fired many months and years before. They are both being used very differently than intended. Just my $00.02 worth

As much as I hated seeing Mack leave the way it went down.........this is exactly what UT needed.

Hmmmmmm.......Big Girl..........what I have read about his early years his mom was left to raise the boys alone. She worked 2 and 3 jobs a day to have money for them. Now if she had food stamps and medical assistance that is wonderful. I know of no one that is against helping someone that is doing all they can but needs a little assistance. What myself and most conservatives I know do not like are the mom/dad laying around the house doing nothing for themselves or their kids demanding the government pay them.

The problem isn't the folks who score really well and would get the job or get into a college regardless. The problem is those that may just pass the test but "jump the line" ahead of others who scored higher and get the job or gain entrance to school just because they are black, brown, yellow, green etc.......

That is sound advice jv_coach

Going into a relationship thinking that.......you might want to protect your nest egg and stay single

PamFam said....."Gay rights, abortion, immigration and economy will be what the people vote on"
This is a sad, pathetic statement......no offense PamFam, it is the statement not the person I am upset at.........we can go $40 gazillion into debt as long as we get gay rights and amnesty.............truly sad. We need to get us a leader that will concentrate on the economy, get our foreign policy back in order and keep the government out of our everyday lives.
The really sad part is.....PamFam is more than likely right........social issues, the feel good stuff is what the younger generation is worried about. We need to worry about the important things.

Steve you are so wrong..........damn man......it is Bush's fault

The came here in box cars in 100 degree heat.......send them back the same way

The bottom line is........no matter what school you pull for, none of us know the inner workings of what is going on within the program.

with the score 24 - 0 in the 2nd quarter and limping pretty badly I could not believe Briles had him in there.
