If you’re theory is based on the Silsbee/Vidor game, you are in for a rude awakening. 

I can buy most of your post but alleging that a Hebert title in 76 had something to do with West Brooks SC in 82 is a stretch.  After watching Coach Durley’s South Park Team, where he was OC, I think he deserves a lot of the credit, along with the FP & Hebert players.

I personally believe Silsbee is much better than last years team.. Just alot younger.! But they growing up it looks really fast.! 🤗😁🐅🏈

PG may be down, but make no mistake this football program has made it to the state championship game several times in the recent past. I'm pulling for Silsbee to win, but I don't know about the easy part. PG is deep tradition and after two blow out losses will be looking to right the ship. After two heart breaking losses Silsbee needs to not lose focus in the fourth quarter and close games out. TigerNation!!!

Carthage is able to field two sides of the ball consistently with almost none playing both ways.  They have been doing that for years now and you have to be supremely talented to slow them down.  If your defense is rested then you have the best chance to do that.  
As for the Vidor game.... It amazes me when people say outcoached.  That is the good and bad side of some fans from Silsbee.  Never happy, no matter the effort, and that effort from a young team was just fine in my eyes.

I won’t be at one this week. Either leaving Friday or early Saturday for Austin to watch my Longhorns Saturday 

Silsbee was down so many players, mostly linemen, that it really didn't matter how long we had the ball on offense. Not only did we get wore down we didn't have the players to give them a break. The offensive lineman would basically turn around and play defense. Should get some relief back this week, but not all.   

That year before, was the last year of the previous coach.  Put it this way.  The current coach is light years better than that old one… of course, my opinion…

The oldest rivalry in SETX, Silsbee v Jasper. This ain’t no friendly next door neighbor, across the railroad track game. You want to play in this game you better tighten your chin strap a bit little more. 

I’m here too. First time I have set on Silsbee side ever. I’m hoping for a good game

We got the same crap crew from the HH game last year that cost us a W. Still can’t spot the ball or mark off penalties for the correct yardage. They are lost out there, same as last season.

Carthage gave Carthage a much closer game than it should of been.
