I recently asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be the President. Both of her parents, Liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her. "If you were President, what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied, "i'd give food and houses to all the homeless people".
Her parents beamed with pride.
"Wow....what a worthy goal," I told her. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and i'll pay you $50. Then I will take you to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use towards food and new house".
She thought that over a few seconds, the she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work and you just pay him $50?"
I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Mr Dodd & Mr Frank wrote the legislation that changed all of that.  What party did the represent?

Enough said...you are of the mindset that one should be penalized for success and the money that is confiscated at a higher rate goes to the gov which you obviously think is more capable of spending that money than the one that earned it.
Most likely you think it should be taken from the maker and given to the poor downtrodden taker in the form of welfare.
That very sentiment is ruining this country.

I am definitely no fan of eminent domain but if it is for a legit national security problem...I’m all in.
Question, if walls don’t work, why does the White House, Fort Knox or any number of rich folks and secured locations need them?
We all know they work, Dems are bucking this because they know those that come across benefit them.  Stop insulting conservatives intelligence by suggesting otherwise.
Democrats are a sad lot, they can never state what their true intentions are, even when everyone knows.

No it shouldn’t.
Trump is asking for less money for the wall than we spend in one month on food stamps.
Border security is a Constitutional responsibility...food stamps aren’t.

Yep...sad that he was begging for Trump’s help earlier and after being elected, comes out with this garbage.
Even his own niece is slamming him for this move.
He should have run as a Democrat if that’s what he wants to be.

No problem...less than 5 months of food stamps...AND it’s one of the few things that the fed gov is Constitutionally responsible for...National Security.
 

No Democrats have...in fact, many of them want to provide sanctuary from said laws.

You have to know that many of these illegals are from the criminal element.  Unfortunately, we have no statistics of how many.  A simple check of the primary countries involved will give you an indication.  
Murder rates per 100,000 people.
US - 5.35
Mexico - 19.26
Guatemala - 27.26
Honduras - 56.52
Are these the type people we want in the US?  Certainly not without a secure border, and vetting.  Don’t expect to get food from the outhouse.

Dems are always on the wrong side.
To never realize that is either delusional or insanity.
