Democrats also like to use this lame argument to make themselves feel better about systematically killing the unborn.

I'm sure with all their experience they would have picked better SCJs, renegotiated NAFTA better, given us better across the board tax cuts, cut many more Obama era regulations, and gotten the economy jump-started much better than Trump has.

Not exactly.... he is the nationally elected leader of the executive branch.  She is just one of 435 Representative from the House that was selected by her fellow reps to lead the house.  In short, she was elected by however people voted for her ONLY in her district, plus the reps in congress that voted for her. 
She's technically the third person in the chain of succession behind the VP.  But definitely not equal in stature to the sitting president. 

I know, but it sure does put a crimp in his perceived “unquestionable” character.

I think you’re both saying the same thing too (in different ways).  And you’re both mostly correct in what you’re saying.   The SCOTUS is there to protect the Constitution.  In the Constitution (i.e., the 10th Amendment), the issue of states’ rights is certainly a matter the Court would need to consider in many cases.  

Sometimes that’s all we got...but it’s enough.

My thoughts precisely.  You and I also believe that a day of reckoning is coming, even if it’s not brought by the voters.  To me, the hypocrisy is sickening, although admittedly less so than the recent legislation.  We can only pray that recent events will backfire on those who champion immorality and actually force more than lip service from those who have been content to offer it, without any action.   The Lord does move in mysterious ways.  That’s the only solace I can find anyway
